A couple weeks ago Discord announced their plans to go down the IPO route. This means that there is now a ticking clock until the platform goes full-on enshittified like so many others before them....

I’ve been wanting to animate the building of a Lego set but have been struggling to find really good morphing software. Most seems to be designed for faces, or they do plain animation with no morphing at all....
well that sucks a lot, a bunch of projects including microG have relied on it....
I’m sure you all heard about it, i tried this open source (i think it’s open source) shooter game called xonotic and it is FUN as hell, it’s probably one of the best foss games i’ve ever played and i wanted to show this game off here...

But I have folders with lots and lots of images that I work through day by day and...
Why are FOSS platforms like Matrix having such a hard time getting users to migrate from Discord? Because of PluralKit.
I know this might be a bit too specific, but I’ll ask anyway....

I made a blog post discussing my biggest issues with Lemmy and why I am kind of done with it as a software.
I’m looking for an image viewer on windows that also has some simple editing tools. I’ve been using nomacs for quite a while, which is exactly that, but editing images with this software can get pretty finicky, so I’m looking for an alternative....
Something like Canva that’s foss and on android
gitlab.opencode.de/opentalk
I have Kodi installed now, I will probably test OSMC later today, are there any other programs similar to them that I could test?...
Is there a friendly alternative to VMWare/Virtualbox? I would move back to Virtualbox, but it’s now owned by oracle
