Assault, rape and public indecency on the very last game I played.

Before such particular game, I’d be arrested for animal cruelty, illegal possession of unregistered firearms, murder, trespassing, drug fabrication, violation of every architectural/engineering rule/standard, building without a permit on land I don’t own, slavery and human trafficking.

The tabletop game seems to be doing well, only behind Warhammer 40k, afaik. Mechwarrior 5 has been met with mostly positive reviews, if you want the experience of actually piloting a mech. Mechwarrior Online is still around, pretty much unchanged since 2013, every mech has a free, non customizable version you can pilot.

For a tactical PC game very akin to the tabletop, BATTLETECH is the most recent, with fuckloads of DLC.

As others have said, the problem isn’t wages, rich are rich because of returns, dividends and other stuff that, depending on the country or city, is tax exempt, precisely to avoid paying anything. A cynical asshole might even go so far as to say that it creates jobs for lawyers and accountants, which is technically true. It’s a win-win-lose for the rich-those ethically wrong workers-everyone else.

Unless the UN or really big blocks like the EU+BRICS start pressing every tax haven to stop pretending that they’re doing nothing wrong (which, let’s be honest, won’t happen, ever), the rich will just move around. They have that luxury, thanks to effectively infinite money.

I suppose you can try and start a conversation by talking about yourself, or “a friend”, then using that as a hook for asking about them. Or use a low hanging fruit, like a popular sport (something weird in USA, soccer everywhere else):

“Damn, my friend can’t stop talking about his team, do you follow sports?” On a no, it’s a perfect opportunity to comment something like “Yeah, better stuff to spend your time with, right?”
