When I beat the first and second major bosses in the DLC I was elated, because it was very challenging, but doable if I played extremely well, and learned what each telegraph meant they were about to do.
The wicker men it’s kinda like the golems in the base game, the real damage comes when you stagger them the 3rd time and the fall over, chunk them for like 60% of their health on the crit.
I’m just big hammer man, no shirt, light roll, I change nothing about my playstyle for fights besides using a teensy faith to give myself a basic damage nerf for whichever element/type I’m going against if I’m really needing it. But that’s how I play the game, I don’t go for the most OP build combo because that just takes the fun out of it.
Same, I’m having a hard time deciding how to play the upcoming dlc, do I just wait till seamless updates? That could take like a month+ or do I bite the bullet and make a vanilla char again to prep…
I never look at “how to beat certain bosses” guides, usually it’s very hard to understand anyway and I have much more fun learning the bosses movesets myself… Not to say there isn’t a lot of trial and error dying, oh there is a lot of that.
I did the same when it first came out, gave it another try during covid when the remastered version came out, absolutely loved it. Got all achievements even :P
I consider myself to have a pretty small social battery, but gaming online on discord isn’t nearly as draining as being physically with people at someone’s house or something, maybe I’m just weird.
Even then, had some great times on Civ5 with everyone over at my place playing on our laptops and chillin/watching TV or just talking at the same time
I just installed EndeavorOS on an HP Spectre360 that’s roughly 2 years old. I am honestly surprised at how easy it went. If you google it, you’ll get a lot of “lol good luck installing linux on that” type posts - so I was ready for a battle....
Funny enough, I also flashed my (probably much older) HP Spectre X360 to endevourOS last week, works good, feels more responsive then PopOS was on it.
I then tried Bazzite on my desktop and the experience went much worse, seemingly because of Nvidia driver support still being pretty bad on linux. Oh well.
What about in steam specifically, seemed like a bit of a steam issue as it was very buggy, flicking graphics and such in Steam client and big picture mode was godawful, even tried the render fix mentioned online and it didn’t help at all.

I can understand that the south would view it as spreading culture or “enlightening” as you mentioned, since the North is a locked down authoritarian country.

Yes I’m trolling a bit, one could argue a modern smart phone and the first cell phones are a bad comparison because they “aren’t used for the same thing” but that’s just needlessly pedantic.
In this case, I do think it’s fair to point out a crossover/suv being compared to a sedan is different enough to be a bad comparison, it’s not “Apples to Oranges” (why can’t fruit be compared?) but it is intentionally misleading for comparing cars of the same type when they’re not the same type and pointing at the size difference.
Still, raw processing power comparatively it is underpowered, can’t push beyond 1080p for example, which is fine for Nintendo games because they make games with that limitation in mind, third party switch games are a lot more hit or miss, especially ports of pc games.
Compared to even cell phones the switch is laughably underpowered in the year 2024.
Not saying it can’t be useful or enjoyable, just gotta face facts about what the device is lol.

It’s hard to say if it was “given insufficient time” vs Obsidian leadership agreeing to a date that was too ambitious for them to accomplish, but I get everyone just wants to say Bethesda bad here.
I wasn’t in those discussions, so I can’t say for certain one way or the other, but it definitely would have been nice of Beth if they had still paid out the bonus considering it was one point off, alas American corporations rarely do anything (especially if it involves money) out of kindness.
I too went dry herb for a long time, even have a Mighty+ that I really enjoyed, the thing about the pens though… Much less smell, much more stealthy, and one cart can last very long in comparison to dry herb.
In a non-legal state, pen is just safer imo
