As far as I can tell, this is about an Israeli government propaganda effort spending Israeli taxpayers’ shekels against Americans. While it’s true that your comment could be validly copy-pasted to threads about all sorts of things that the US government has done, this thread isn’t about one of those situations.
I linked to the specific part of the video that explains the particular point I want to make, but I recommend watching from the beginning anyway. Also, the extra-short TL;DR is basically that the Democratic party is structurally predisposed to continually give the benefit of the doubt and assume good faith, even when it is not only blatantly undeserved but also being actively exploited by their opponents.
Samuel Alito was again absent from the Supreme Court on Friday after skipping out on Thursday. No information has yet been provided by the court for Alito’s mysterious absence, which comes as the court is issuing decisions before the end of its term and leaves nothing but questions on his whereabouts....
What a neat coincidence that both this and the rule book for the other Star Trek TTRPG have both been posted within the last few days. Are there any others we should know about, LOL?
Why is T’Ana standing in line for a replicator in the first place? She’s senior staff; she not only should be eligible to eat in the officers’ mess, she probably has her own private replicator in her quarters.
(Or is the Cali-class even shittier than I imagined it to be?)
Also, why can’t they just replicate some more replicators and install them everywhere?
Turning things up to 11 just gets you discredited as “radicals” in the media.
Radicals need to exist in order to make the less-radical activists look reasonable by comparison. Otherwise they just get painted as radical no matter how milquetoast their protest is, and the Overton window moves away from their cause.
First of all, this is great and deserves its own thread.
Second, there’s a fatal flaw: authoritarians and capitalists (same difference) are predisposed in favor of fascism, and that’s why the behavior of fuckwads like Trump keeps getting free passes and attention. When leftists try the same thing, they get ignored, censored, COINTELPRO’d, or even just straight-up murdered.
In other words, it’s a good strategy and should work, all things being equal, but all things are not equal and that makes it a high-body-count strategy (even if there’s no better one available).
Definitely not. Which country the activist is in is one difference, but what they’re an activist about is another. Here in the US, some activists get shot by police while other activists get police marching with them, for example.

You say that as if Skyrim was revolutionary, but I never saw it as anything other than an evolution over Oblivion (and in some ways, a step backwards from Morrowind).
Wow, that’s some terminal right-wing privatization going on there. Government not only completely shirking its responsibility to build a public street, but even abdicating its authority to ensure that the developers it delegated the job to did it properly.
“However, council cannot force landowners to develop their property.”
Asked if council could force developers to build two sides of a street, the spokesman said it could not.
Motherfucker, what part of “eminent domain” do you not understand?! Building a public street is exactly what that power is for!
That said, everyone involved also deserves a bitch-slap for their failure to comprehend the concept of one-way traffic circulation.

the citizens are upset they are only trying to clean up the river for the Olympics not for the people that live there
But they are trying to clean it up for the people that live there, though? I’d heard that it’s supposed to remain clean after the games and that they’ll be opening swimming areas for the general public and stuff.
