This whole debate seems like such a mistake/gamble on both sides. The press is going to run wild with any “senility-looking” blunders either candidate makes. I dunno why either party agreed to a debate. We are already very familiar with both candidates.
What went wrong: The US government allowed studios to own streaming and broadcast channels. This resulted in extreme fragmentation of the market where programs were no longer sold on the open market and every studio felt like they had to open their own streaming channel to compete.
It didn’t work when studios owned movie theaters and so that was outlawed. Now we’ve come full circle and studios can buy movie theaters. That’s not going to save the theaters because the studio is going to put their product out for a week before shuffling it off to their streaming channel. Or worse, cancel it for a write off rather than let it air on competing networks.

In some cases it’s the state that makes the mistake. Not the city. There are lots of people in Austin and Houston who do not want the interstate widened. But TxDOT and the feds are going to push through those projects anyway.
In Austin, the local government is trying to install voter-approved light rail, but the state attorney general is suing to try to stop it.
I always got the feeling that this game was seen as a classic. I never owned a Gamecube growing up, but I’m pretty sure I remember my friend having one and playing Sunshine a bit (although he was way more into Zelda and Smash)....
One of the few games I actually played all the way through. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the environments, puzzles, and animations were really well done.
JOHANNESBURG — South Africa’s ruling African National Congress party has lost its outright majority for the first time in a devastating blow for the party once led by Nelson Mandela. The ANC has dominated South African politics since winning in the first post-apartheid elections 30 years ago....
In the US, the H isn’t silent. So we’re taught to say “a historic” and “a hospital”. But for some reason many US journalists like to pretend they went to Eton or something. And NPR is in the US. So I was commenting about how nice it was to see a US-based journalist use US grammar for a change.
Milk doesn’t have to be inhumane. We’ve just traded local small farms that cared for their animals and delivered locally with corporate conglomerates who want to maximize profit at the expense of their herd.
I don’t know whether it’s a popular opinion or not, but I think Dr. Pulaski was a great character and I found her much more interesting than Dr. Crusher. I don’t know if it was down to the writing or the performance but Pulaski is one of the best parts of season 2 and I would have been happy to see her character continue....
Fantastic actress. She kicked ass as Rosalynd Sheas on L. A. Law among other great roles. Did a great job as Pulaski as well. I really wish Trek would give Pulaski a shout out on one of the other series currently in production.

Was that headline written by AI? It’s like someone just had to work the word “slams” in there and it reads like a fetus with no brain stem did the slamming.
Presidents can push to have decrepit old justices from their own party retire so he/she can replace them with a younger model before the next election.
Go.com was a stupid decision someone at ABC made around the time that Time Warner also stupidly purchased AOL. And stupid ABC/Disney has held onto the go.com domain ever since.
For me it depends on the brand, added sugars, and what you’re using it for (cooking, cold cereal, smoothies, drinking it straight). This seems to be the case for all of the plant-based milks. But it can be enjoyable finding the ones you like.
They’ve made a lot of good peripherals like keyboards, mice, joysticks. Xbox one used to support Kinect and TV tuners which was nice.
The surface line has been interesting, and I’d be tempted to buy one if they didn’t come with Windows 11 (I need to look up if you can install Win 10 on the newer ones).
They came out with some wild stuff during the Sidekick phone days like Microsoft Kin and Zune. But honestly current management doesn’t seem to be interested in anything but boring but profitable software services (like Xbox game pass) that they can charge a subscription for.
Edit: I wish Zelifcam hadn’t deleted his comments. They were good questions/conversation.
I’d imagine most people with those SUVs don’t actually own them. They’re either leasing them, or have a huge monthly car payment that they’ll just fold into another car loan when trading it in for the next.
Republicans skew old and military. Both are a large percentage of absentee ballots. Please don’t stop them from continually shooting themselves in the foot.
