AlligatorBlizzard,

One of the Asian grocery stores in my neighborhood had red bean popsicles a few years ago. If I remember which one I may try and find another box, they weren’t bad but I’d only buy another box for the memes, there’s other types of popsicles I’d rather buy.

Stovetop,

Red bean is a staple of many Chinese desserts and it tastes sweet on its own. It makes for a good dairy-free popsicle and is quite common in China.

Vanilla and chocolate are made using beans as well; other than the fact that you can make red bean into paste and eat it as-is or frozen without milk or added sugar, it’s not that crazy a concept.

Flummoxed,

You ever seen red bean pizza?

Jerkface,

It’s a red bean matcha pizza and your focus is on the beans?

While there were some negative comments about the pizza, saying it looked mouldy and revolting and that “the Italians will be appalled”, there were a surprising amount of netizens who applauded the pizza chain for being creative and even suggested more quirky flavours for them to try next like milk tea, siu mei, and jelly pizza.

lol nice would try for sure
