Extremely flaky (picture is with 10% still in the bottle, and gently poured). Very high in carbonation. Medium, but astringent bitter. Citrus and pine. Little room for the malt body.
Bought some news glassware but had no idea they’d force my (left) hand for #stoutWednesday
Glasses made in collaboration with #leftHandBrewing deserve a Left Hand brew! Last can of Candy Cane nitro imperial peppermint milk stout. Creamy smooth with a lovely balance of mint and malt.
I know non-alcoholic beer is hard to make. Still, when a brewery like d'Achouffe puts one on the market, I do expect to find their distinguishing flavor profile (which is in fact mostly fermentation byproducts).
This one doesn't. It's hop-forward and refreshing, but it's not really a Chouffe...
