I’ve always found myself bouncing off hard on “make your own fun” type games like Minecraft or the newer Zeldas. This extends to any type of game that has no clear goals or motivators....

In case you’re out of the loop, the old Steam Deck had Philips screws that screwed into self-tapping plastic holes. This lead to occasional stripped threads and often stripped screwheads....

Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t have the best launch (lol). But some of us enjoyed the game despite its flaws. In the time since then, they’ve had nearly two years to patch the issues and add QoL....

I’ve been closely studying dialogue and cinematography in video games lately. Try to detach the dialogue system from the dialogue. What’s the best? Was it technically multiple systems or just one?

I recently played through universal Paperclips. It was okay, looking for more to try.

Do alarm bells ring or not?

I’ve read a ton of good things about this game, so I started it this week. I’m a couple of hours in now, but all I’m doing is floating around in the little space ship so far, and respawning every so often when I do something dumb....

Looking for fourth to sixth generation console games, and old arcade and X68000 games. Saturn is out though....

I grew up an avid gamer. But now, among my 50-hour work week, helping my kids with their math homework, grocery shopping, and house chores, I’m no longer able to find enough free time to really dive into a game. I mostly play casual games that I can drop in and out of but forget about the 40hr+ games requiring commitment....

Whatcha all been playing? Been kind of sick this week so I took it easy but still found some time to get some Isaac runs in. Also started up rogue legacy 2 again which is a good time
