Hello! I hope I am not off topic, this is literally my first day here (ok, maybe I should wait and know the community a bit better but I 'll try to be slightly bolder...if it's not ok just let me know). I understand that by choice there are no super focused communities to avoid an excessive fragmentation. So I wonder: is this...
I was thinking of setting up a server if there is interest. I’m open to mod suggestions as well.
What game mechanics do you enjoy or that surprised you when playing a game? I recently started playing Tunic and I love building out the “manual” for the game and getting hints on how to play.
What are your favorite board games? Me and my friends love playing board games, but I get the feeling their tired of playing the same things. What do you guys usually play? My favorite board game of all time is HeroQuest. I never get tired of playing it. Also love Catan, Arkham Horror, Betrayal House on the Hill, Spyfall (great...
I am playing Pokemon Violet at the moment and it is a total bore. I have played the game so many times and I just want to run around catch Pokemon and battle....
With gaming often bringing me into a really depressive headspace sometimes with how the markets are developing, whats a game you can always go to and just be lost in, or just be happy with?...
Never played past an hour or so. I’m gonna give it a good try to get into it....
Hello everyone! I really want to get into the jrpg genre but I have no idea which game would be good for a beginner. I have played persona 5 and I really enjoyed it. Any recommendations would be really appreciated!
I’ll keep this spoiler free....

I have had my Steam Deck for a bit of time. While most games I am able to control fine I find myself slightly struggle with FPS games on it. With a regular controller I do fine but the spacing of the joystick on the SD tend to tire my hands out fairly quickly....
Wondering if there are any good games out there which play like the original Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon games. Games where tactics are completely necessary to survive, and one shot will kill you....
AAA games are just getting stale for me and I'm looking to mix it up a bit. I really don't have a specific genre I gravitate toward or steer away from. I like trying new stuff and I'm happy to consider anything you enjoy playing!
I should probably go to bed at this point. I typed up a short story of my arduous attempts at defending an outpost in the STALKER modpack GAMMA and how my game crashed when I turned in the quest. Sent off that post and woe-is-me, the entire text didn't get submitted and I didn't have it saved in copy-paste. It's just so...
The field-of-view is weird. Seems less isometric and more top-down and too zoomed in....
The only EO game I’ve played was IV on the 3DS. I bought it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I was looking forward to this new collection but the price is kind of putting me off so I might just get one instead....
Summer Games Fest will probably be the event this faux-E3 season. What are you expecting/hoping to see tomorrow?...
I was thinking about a few games where I have broken the tone or balance. Wondering what other people have done similar?...
Edit: Thank you everyone! I now some a great big list of VN to checkout 😀
They’ve not seen a “mainline” numbered release of Ridge Racer since 2006, a spin off on ps vita in 2011 and a PS3/X360 in name only “Ridge Racer” unbounded....
I was told that Jedi Survivor wasn’t great on PC. Has it improved since its release? If I buy it now, can I play it without issues?
Recently finished Bioshock, Spec-Ops: The Line and Nier Automata (not so old, but played really well)....
I really really enjoyed the gameplay loop in Half Life 2 where you have a vehicle and traverse the map in a linear way. You travel, stop, solve puzzles, fight and again travel (and get upgrades along the way)....
Daily, I play Wordle and 7 Little Words when I first get up, but I was wondering what other types of quick games like that that people play regularly.
