Developers (two dudes) are super responsive and would likely release an IP customization feature upon request. Is there any service that would tolerate this [D]DOS-y kind of behavior that would feel more privacy friendly than Cloudflare?...

Can someone explain the "don't put all your eggs in one basket" argument to me? (kbin.run)
I'm (probably) switching to Proton Pass from Bitwarden because its easier to create email aliases (all in one instead of making an alias with SimpleLogin, then copying that to Bitwarden and making a password there) but I've heard people saying not to use Proton Pass to not "put all your eggs in one basket". Can someone explain...
Legitimate interest? (lemmy.world)
I never consent to give my data away or being tracked, but how do you deal with so called legitimate interest? I tried several times to untick them but it is a long list (in fact at the bottom there is a “vendors” link with even longer, much longer list. It took me 10 minutes to get to the bottom of it once)....

Are alk the repos under fdroid with different URLs or...

Some banking apps don't appear in the Aurora Store (lemmy.ml)
This has happened a few times, but it was always related to the use of VPNs because the app is not available in the country of the server, but now, even if I disable the VPN, change the spoofing model of the smartphone, open from a direct link from the Play store (in which the app page opens, however, with almost no information,...
