XDG_SESSION_THEME=KDE got my hyprland config to work on everything except the cursor (other than in Firefox/steam for some reason). Took me way too long to find the old reddit post that had this tip, so I hope it helps!
I would look at OpenSUSE and try whichever flavor meets your needs. It’s more niche than Ubuntu but on vanilla installation is easily as user-friendly. The only downside is that if you start messing with stuff, tutorials are not written with SUSE/zypper in mind as often.
I’ve been running Tumbleweed with Nvidia drivers for about 6 months and have had basically no issues. Switch between X11Plasma/KDE when I just need something direct, and Wayland/Hyprland when I want to mess about and I’ve not had to blow everything away yet.
I mean this is already a thing to certain degrees right? Virtualization platforms I use both are free for personal use, but not business use, or at least certain feature package use isn’t permitted. What’s the difference? Putting the software under a different license/eula?
Why limit it? If you’re actively making money, or you are a licensed business attempting to do so, people actively helping you build business deserve to be compensated. If a developer just happened to live in your area and said “I could make your business better by making this thing for you,” would they be worth hiring? What’s the saying, socialize the resources, privatize the profits? Size << Intent
About the possible complaining: I would say this is the perfect amount of detail/suggestion that can appeal just about everyone. You want to feel cute by wearing a short pleated skirt? Win! Care to view someone in a short pleated skirt? Also a win! Don’t care to wear or view someone in a short pleated skirt? You are entitled to that opinion but probably not an active member of the community, or appreciate some peoples’ desire to do one or both of these things. You win as well, And good will to all of the above.
Love my Banana Milks, glad to see them getting some love. I should be getting my Melon Milks for my 40 this weekend. I’m new to tactiles so I’m curious to compare the two.
Some 10 years ago I had a Cherry G80-3000 full-size keyboard that I wanted to be a tenkeyless. So I cut the keyboard in two parts and made it work again. Madness, but it worked....
Ikki68 Camp and Megalodon DOIO Macropad with lubed Banana Milk switches. I’m not a lefty but support moving numpads and nav clusters away from the mouse. Took about 2 weeks to get used to it, and I keep a numpads layer in the Ikki for when I take it away from my main setup.
Nuphy seems to be a well liked low profile keyboard manufacturer. They have several models out now so there’s likely something that fits your needs. Not sure if they have ISO layouts though. If that’s not an issue, you can always go full minimalism with a Corner or something similar.
I'm looking for PC games that I can play while listening to podcasts- games that don't have engaging cut scenes or important dialogue, games that honestly don't require a lot of skill or thought....
I would just look through any number of online list of "Best Swarm Survivors". There's dozens of different themes and tweaks from the VS formula, including boat and train varieties! I also watch the YouTube channel Never Nathaniel as he's a pretty awesome source of both info and entertainment on the matter (as well as other games). He's literally the only streamer I've watched and I couldn't tell you why, his formula just works.
One more that is outside of the swarm survival genre, Child of Light. Though there is a fun and endearing story that irecommend, once you get through the first 20 minutes, you can kind of just not care and enjoy the simple but interesting play style of an almost-turned-based RPG.

I wonder what ideas could come up, but important for me is that it supports QMK firmware and maybe bluetooth....
