How to fix Korea's birthrate? Put girls in school earlier, controversial report argues (koreajoongangdaily.joins.com)

“Notably, Chang’s report claims that biological females develop earlier than males do, so requiring girls to enter school at younger ages will create classes in which the two sexes are of more equal maturity as they age. This, the author posits, makes it more likely that those classmates will be attracted to each other, and...

BrowseMan,

I was going to post this video. I highly recommend it (and don’t stop at its title, it covers a large amount of subjects).

Honestly during the campaign it’s really helpful.

Compared to the two previous games, this one require more micro management (or at least benefit from it).

And “other RTS games [requires micro management] as well, without pause”: indeed, but playing in full 3D/volume complicate things.

Edit: trying to rephrase for clarity

BrowseMan,

I meant, it just makes things more complicated than “classic” RTS, making the pause even more helpful (giving precise order can be complicated, but I’ve only tried one control type out of two-ish)

BrowseMan,

To be fair, thy said the one player game campaign doesn’t need it, but multiplayer did.

That’s still the case and that’s why steam is giving refund: people are basically buying the game with part missing.

BrowseMan,

I’d be curious to see the sale results of the games while takeling the amount of console/PC present as well as the market size during the release year.

We might have surprise about results of all the games with these parameters.

BrowseMan,

If like me you wanted the patch notes, without clicking:

FIXES

  • Fixed a crash that could occur after the cinematic that plays when transitioning from Act II to Act III.
  • Fixed an issue preventing you from taking a Short Rest when having added and dismissed Us with a companion party member and then loaded certain savegames.
  • Fixed Us appearing at camp and near other waypoints when that didn’t make sense.
  • Fixed an issue introduced in Hotfix 21 causing reduced performance on Mac.

Same here!

I had to get rid of the 2nd edition one year ago because of a contact/short issue. :(

So useful to know who was speaking in mumble/teamspeak when I had only one screen…

And the shortcut keys were useful at the time (I don’t have much use for them now).

Edit: I’ve seen the video and yes, I forgot how CLEAR the software was. It was extremely easy to set, set the shortcuts to work as you wanted.

The current new logitec soft/driver is an utter shit, buggy, extremely confusing (I gave up on trying to setup the backlight how I want it because how stupidly confusing the UI is) and crashing all the time.

BrowseMan,

Went back to it last month after a 10 years yatus.

Game still here, with a lot of changes since.

However, it’s still requiring a lot of time an commitment. And I realized that I don’t have either to give to a video game now.

BrowseMan,

I was Impressed by the Google traduction from Polish to English, the article was Was to read!

BrowseMan,

BrowseMan,

Whouah, okay so all the good things removed.

Fuck the employees I guess?

BrowseMan,

I played the first two, but not Arkham Knight.

I’ve heard a lot of good thing about the batmobile addition in it and would love to use this opportunity to test it out :)

Never touched the “shadow of…” license but heard a lot of good as well. Curious to try them out as well (even if batman probably more my thing).

BrowseMan,

Ah you ça change the data storage easily? Hmmmm thanks for pointing this out.

Hadn’t had much news on bungie since I left Destiny when discovered the hybrid cashgrab/turd that was Lightfall. Reddit was my main source of info, so leaving it for Lemmy didn’t help.

I had no idea they went trough a massive layoff.

It’s a shame, most of what I had against D2 was clearly management-related and the team feelt so talented (Arts, Gameplay, story…).

BrowseMan, (edited )

Ah they kept the graphical choice of Planetary Annihilation… Not my favorite (I know, purely personal taste).

Like the idea a lot thought. Could be fun to have a “two mans team” mode where you can split the tasks however you want (two different fronts with production and battle? One full production and one commander? Etc…)

Wasn’t Planetary Annihilation developed by Uber? I need to take a look a the kickstarter. Thanks for the share!

BrowseMan,

Would you have a link to these? I’m curious how Neil influenced the game.

EVE Vanguard Aims to Be the EVE FPS That Dust 514 Wasn’t - IGN (www.ign.com)

EVE Online's starry realm of New Eden is a vast expanse of more than 7000 star systems, which we have so far experienced almost exclusively from a distance aboard swooping starships or in the colossal interiors of mega-scale space stations. But all the while, I've imagined what might be going on down on these lonely planets I'm...

BrowseMan,

Ah nice! So my old ways of doing things (alt in destroyer with 4 tractor beam and 4 salvager) seems obsolete now.

BrowseMan,

Why do a remake of the worst ES? Lazyness?

Bethesda, do a (good!) rework of morrowind, you cowards!

BrowseMan,

Ah that’s true, I realize it now that you put it your finger in it: ME2 is really a “let’s tour the universe” kind of story fleshing out the background of known races (and adding new ones) and places.
