If you think there are fascists on both sides, then you don’t know what fascism is. The left definitely has problems, but being fascist isn’t one of them.
Remember during Covid when supply lines were interrupted, people started hoarding resources, and the store shelves were bare? That was just a comparatively minor disruption compared to what would happen if we “burn it down”. Think seeing children starving in Gaza is horrifying? It would happen here in much larger numbers. Our millions of guns would be turned on us by our neighbors. It would be The Purge in real life. The Rawandan Genocide would be tame by comparison.
Immigration? Come on in, we’ll worry about it later!
That’s how 99% of the country got here. It’s what made (and still makes) this country great. Incorporating people from around the world is an American value.

Keep in mind that the in 1920s only about 1% of homes had indoor plumbing and electric. If they had an indoor bathroom, there was usually only one on the ground floor with no hot water heater. They did not have heat or air conditioning systems. They were warmed by fireplaces and cooled by opening windows. They also had single pane windows and far less insulation. There were no indoor washers and dryers nor refrigerators included. It makes perfect sense that it costs less for far fewer features.
There is a similar quality difference in the food. A lot of it was canned or preserved. Most of it was produced locally, so many foods were only reasonably available. The only strawberries you were eating in January were the ones you jellied and jarred yourself. On average 44 hours a week were spent on food preparation and cleanup. We pay extra for convenience, quality, and availability.

Your hatred has blinded you to objective reality. Either Biden or Trump will be president. There is no third option in our current system. Which is the worse choice?
That is the choice we have. That is the reality. Vote however you want, but I think you know in your heart that one of those choices will be much worse for the country than the other. Sometimes all you can do is minimize harm.
I’m not asking who you are voting for. I am asking when the election ends with either Trump or Biden winning, which result will be the least damaging for the country?
It will matter when whoever becomes the next president picks one or two new Supreme Court justices. Who would you rather do that between Trump and Biden?
I didn’t get who I wanted in the primaries either. That’s democracy. You don’t always get what you want. We get either Biden or Trump. So who do you think would do worse at choosing Supreme Court justices?
