I’ve dusted off my PS3 and X360 and started playing some of these yellow metascore games from 7th gen, like Haze, Bodycount or Enemy Front.

The Bureau turned out the most fun out of them all, if I were to review it back in the day I’d probably push the score to like 7.5/10

Also fun fact: in the side mission with that Russian spy, Russian spoken by both Carter and the spy is complete gibberish

Why not just get the actual PS3 and 360? They’re pretty cheap nowadays, both have HDMI output, and PS3 is easy to softmod

Jasper motherboard and later 360s don’t get RRODs (at least that most common one), I’d even say they’re more reliable than fat PS3s

Basically any 360 but the oldest two fat models will serve you a very long time, I’m rocking a Trinity with RGH installed

Jesus, someone got overly defensive

It's just that your description claims Duke Nukem Forever is 90s classic (it came out in 2011, and the earliest playable build is from 2001!), it's something that a chat bot would come up with.

And the game itself, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, has 12% positive recent reviews on Steam with people being mad about lack of progress in development. The roadmap on store page has full release set in 2022, and all the devs do is post some sketches and art!

You claim that The game delivers a complete '90s experience when the game didn't even deliver a full release at that point.

There are so many great boomer shooters and you decided to post and get mad about getting called out about this one.

Is the PS4 still a viable console?

One of my close friends decided that she's no longer enjoying games so she offered to sell it to me for really cheap (100$). I love gaming but since I switched to Mac a few years ago my choices have been very limited. I've been mostly playing indie games that are available on Mac. So I've been thinking about her offer....

Who says you need to upgrade monitor for PS5? It supports 1080p 60 Hz perfectly fine, in fact most games run around 1080p when in Performance mode, and those that render higher res will give you free supersampling on that monitor.

PS4 and Xbox One were outdated and underpowered already on release, I wouldn't bother with them when you can play the same games on PS5 usually with better performance and/or graphics

Control doesn't have the most engaging gameplay, but damn isn't that whole SCP-Xfiles story and atmosphere cool and fun to unravel

Try Helldivers, it's isometric twin stick shooter, with second game coming this year switching to third person kinda like Risk of Rain 2
