collaborative map software?

Avenza seems to be the go-to app. It works pretty well and all, but I’m wanting to know if there’s any software available that can allow a team of people to simultaneously access and make edits/notes to a geo-referenced map. It also need to have kind of the same base functionality of being able to show your current location...

Feels like something that would integrate well with Nextcloud. I know there are some Nextcloud based Tracker apps. Have a look at Nextcloud Maps Geobookmarks from Fdroid.

Annoyingly while has a presence bbc.co.uk/…/2023-07-mastodon-distributed-decentra… it doesnt (yet) cover which i would have thought would have been a good starting point. There are already so many bots providing summaries and links to..

I recently tried to add other feeds from other news sites with some success.

I’d love to help out on Open Source projects but have often just not really known where to start. I guess the challenge is to become a experienced enough user of a specific project first.

Yeah agree this is the easiest… I would like to help carry the load somehow. Perhaps filtering /dealing with comments could be a start.
