I'm absolutely loving it. I love that I can pace the game myself thanks to the turn based design, that my actions have consequences, that it's a proper role playing game.
They'll find new jobs. Companies have no loyalty to employees and employees have no loyalty to companies. Nobody is in it for love. They got paychecks, now they'll find someone else to give them paychecks. It's transactional.
Well that's the thing, I don't really consider it injustice. I consider it as something that sucks, but things that suck happen. It's just kind of part of life. You get past it. I guess that's my view.
Like a farmer experiencing a drought. That's not injustice, it just sucks.
It's exactly that. There's no one person, no group of people, that can control a market. It's a force, an abstract concept at this point. Any thoughts that it can be controlled is hubris or naivety.
What's your ideal situation? They create make work jobs? Give the development and production teams some brooms and fire the custodial staff instead? Their job is done. Time to find new ones.
You ever seen a camel? It's a horse that's been designed by a committee. Democratically run things don't accomplish shit because you can never get groups of people to agree on anything.

They might be good at being camels, but they're terrible horses. And if you've ever tried to lead a group of more than a handful of people, you'd know they can never agree on shit. Someone has to make the call.
There are exactly 0 companies that are going to make their lives harder for 0.0001% of their customer base. You're the one with the niche hobby, you figure out how to make it work. Find the original discs or something. That's not Steam's problem.
I swear to god if they put this shit in Starfield I'm going to pay Empress for the crack instead of giving my money to BSG. It's not about the money at that point, nobody can say I'll just be a cheap ass.
God damn I miss Ogame back when it was decent. Even getting fleet crashed because you forget to send them on a mission was exciting. I'll keep an eye on this thread, that sounds fun.
Mine is Silent Hill 3. Its subject matter revolves around the fears of a teenage girl, like death of a parent, puberty, unwanted pregnancy (with a demon fetus, no less), mirrors (THAT ROOM shivers), and stalkers. The atmosphere is so oppressive and I cant play the game without having something else playing in the background, its...
Jesus I go to horror games for a different brand of horror. I can't imagine voluntarily subjecting myself to this, but I can actually imagine wanting to make it if I were a parent who had to live through that.
