Sundered is a cool 2D metroidvania / action rogue lite blend.
Absolutely gorgeous artstyle, unique conceptā€¦

Loop Hero is another rogue lite, that has a bit more of a management feel to it. The hero traverses the loop (the level) automatically - you just get to change their equipment and the environment. Itā€™s a cool balancing act between making a tough level with synergetic enemy types/tiles and making sure your hero survives.

Hollow Knight - if you like metroidvanias you probably know that one. Itā€™s incredibly popular! amazing game.

Dead Cells - same basically :) 50% off on steam right now!

These recommendation all have Switch and PC versions. No clue how well they would run on yuzu

Worst offenders to me are cod, despite a bigger time gap. Force bundling a remake into another live service game that STILL GETS SHUT DOWN AFTER A FEW YEARS FOR THE NEXT LIVE SERVICE.

This isnā€™t exactly a remaster, you might call it a remake, reboot or something like that. It isnā€™t ā€œjustā€ the first one with a bit of new stuff.

The DLC for 2 did get announced though, yes.

The situation around who does what is a bit confusing too since hopoo sold the IP to gearbox.

Returns is made by Hopoo.

Ror2 and future dlc, as well as finishing/releasing the port of Survivors of the Void is gearbox software.

The mobile thing is 100% gearbox / third party studio with no involvement by hopoo

The tests went on for quite a long time is what i mean, i kept getting emails even after i stopped.

Idk about the scope being so crazy, there are similar games executing such concepts well. It was simply the execution of the systems and overall game and level design. That and the terrible technical issues that really held back whatever they had managed this far.

Its a slightly janky game with a huge scope. Makes sense that they had a lot of fixes left from pre release sprints.

Most ive run into was some t-poses here and there and camera wonkyness. There were some issues with save games too from what i remember

Doing things in games because it simple felt good.

Iā€™ve been thinking about the PS1 game ā€˜Driverā€™ a lot recently. Itā€™s a game I spent a lot of time on during my youth, and whilst Iā€™m sure it doesnā€™t hold up some 20 years later, it was still a highlight from my ā€˜gaming youthā€™....

As a German, donā€™t do this to yourself.

Eventually youā€™ll want those specific caps amd itā€™s either 80 bucks ontop for the iso/de/euro package or simply no options or a missing iso enter. Or some keeb that literally only comes in ansi.

If youā€™re a developer, take a look at the US-international layout for all your umlaut needs. įŗž and all.i havenā€™t dabbled with dvorak and the likes, so best read up on whats best for you.

Learning the new layout is quick and easy in my experience. Did half an hour of keybr a day tops, and Iā€™d say i got the grasp within two weeks. Some searching for umlaut/specific special character but that comes with time.

Now on qwerty im so much comfier reaching the brackets and parenthesis etc.
