In addition, there’s a psychological phenomenon where our brains only need the first and last letter of a word in the right place, and all the right letters in between in any order, to suss out a word. Our familiarity with a lngaauge will put it together, so presumably the same is true for healthcare providers’ common words.
Hey, I wanna know your preferred laptops, used is better and to run Linux on it. Something with at least 16gb and 512 SSD is good. Budget range. Thank you!
In a similar vein, I went with a Framework laptop. Expensive, but 100% modular and repairable, with an in-house secondhand marketplace. I have a gen 1, batch 2, and the thing is stunningly manufactured for a startup. Can’t say enough good things. Happy hunting!
It’s not just Americans. As a Canadian we’re deeply affected by American situations (plus our own politics). Sometimes the only way to put up with the complex world we live in is a little Squidwardism
I have a scar on my wrist from one second of not paying attention to barbed wire. Queasiness warning: I remember staring at the muscle and watching it contract until blood came gushing out. Farm life is quite something
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is basically an attempt at accounting for all civilization-collapsing-level catastrophic events. Maybe not global, but massive-scale.
for the record, like almost all big classic sci-fi, these books (dune) are remarkably bigoted and reductive. i still like space stories and political intrigue tho....
Yeah I don’t understand why they don’t just own it. You’re a company trying to maximize profits, and tried money grubbing your way to more. Then you got caught and your customers didn’t like it. Admit it, move on to your next appallingly bad idea. Weak lies are the worst
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a mammoth-sized update, titled Update 2.0, tomorrow, September 21, and it promises to be a bit of a game changer. A police revamp, a progression overhaul, a new cybernetics system, vehicular combat, DLSS 3.5—it's vast, and thankfully separate from the Phantom Liberty expansion due next week, so you'll...
I’m so excited to play this on PS5. Survived a 50 hours playthrough on PS4, liked the story enough but almost purely ground my way through due to shitty performance. This time I wanna just enjoy it as it was meant to be played :)
