When I was a kid I was on holiday with my parents in Spain. Since Mortal Kombat was verboten in Germany I went to every shop that might have SNES games to find it. I think I was finally able to find Mortal Kombat 3 in Andorra. And it was glorious!

Nowadays I just emulate on my PC or Steam Deck.

Mame emulator of the actual arcade releases. The graphics are better, there’s no censorship, and it’s really the more authentic way to play them, since they first were arcade machines before they came to home consoles.

SEGA Genesis here. And i always preferred the original 3 button controller for Mortsl Kombat over the 6 button.

ETA: ABACABB

DABDA,

I haven’t looked into it but that code has to be a creative reference to the Genesis album/song “Abacab.”
