RizzRustbolt,

I think I’ve got a jar big enough for him to fit in.

The toy is indestructible so it doesn’t matter if you remove him from the original packaging. Existential suffering doesn’t affect the value. Only physical damage.

The packaging has the new style combadge but the figure has the older style. I don’t know if O’Brien ever wore this style uniform on DS9. Did they just reuse a TNG design and slap it into DS9 packaging?

I don’t even think that head is an O’Brien head. If it is, it was sculpted by someone who had never seen Colm Meany and was working like a police sketch artist.

sconniecrow,

It kinda looks like Lt. Carey from Voyager.

He got done dirty as an engineer too. Instantly demoted and forced to work for his new Maquis boss with a temper problem, disappearing for four or five years and then getting killed.

loopedcandle,

Didn’t even bother updating the uniform. Pfft.

MajorHavoc,

I love the “close counts in hand grenades” face sculpts in this whole toy line.

They’re great toys, which makes the “someone who once got mistaken for” face sculpting really stand out.

The design team clearly did great work, (the Data and Locutus toys were particularly delightful) so I imagine the potato face has to do with manufacturing technology limitations.

Kruggles88,

How long has he been locked in that cage? A lifetime?

The action figure made for Sid from Toy Story!
