This is the exact reason ACAB. The others didn’t directly participate in the actions but silence is complacence and when you’re in the position of a police officer, who’s job it is to uphold the law, there’s extra significance to remaining silent. If they were civilians, they’d be called, “accomplices”.
Maybe some of the dozen of you, but then you remember that at the end of the day, you only have two options, and one is definitely the better option, even if it’s not a good situation. Be critical, that’s good and healthy, but it should not matter come Nov.
You think that me exaggerating the relatively low number people that are being critical of Biden is patronizing to all Muslim Americans, but you saying that all of the entire community is so mad that you’re at, “I’m earning you, for real this time” levels, isn’t? This feels like more of an insult to the Muslim community than saying there aren’t a enough willing to sway the election.
Edit: Also I never mentioned anything about the pain they’re going through. I empathize and personally not happy with the current state of affairs, but I’m gonna go out and cast my vote for Biden in November, unless somehow, someone more progressive leap frogs him and Trump isn’t eligible. So I very much didn’t patronize the situation and grief, just the numbers.
I think that some people come out and are critical, but then say they aren’t going to vote for him, or push something just a bit further. Tone also makes a difference.
There’s two options in November, one is worse for Palestine than the other.

Based on the voting response of your comments, it might be your reading comprehension that could use some work. “Let’s see how long he lasts” doesn’t imply anything but an undefined timeframe. Just because you inferred something from that doesn’t make you right.
260 years is for sure overkill, imo, but 4 months is ridiculous. The intent was clear and the actions were intentional through and through. I think 5 years minimum should be required. Fuck her “community standing” and her corrupt AF husband can take care of the kids while she does hard time. I didn’t see, but are any of the charges felonies, or will this all show on her record as a simple misdemeanor, further not carrying much significance? What a joke.
For other’s reading this Trump quote and are unaware, it should be “hanged” when referring to the act of hanging a person. Being hung would be the same as being strung up, or it could refer to the length of Byrd’s dong. Both are possibilities when coming from Trump’s mouth.

I last purchased a 2080ti, so I will probably ride that comfortably for another couple of years, but I window shop new AMD cards sometimes. I could probably convince myself to buy one even though it’s unnecessary, but I use and love my mini PC case, and the newest cards are too long to fit. I really hope smaller high-end GPUs becomes a trend to push innovation in that direction. Kind of like how phones just kept getting thinner for the longest time, I want GPUs to fight for shortest.

She hasn’t been very vocal about anything the last 3+ years, but if she goes hard now, and specifically on abortion, really making national news, that would be pretty cool and I think effective.

My dad died in 2015. I couldn’t tell you the month, but I got married in Nov 2014, and he died shortly before his April birthday 2015. I’m in my mid 30s, and if you gave me 45 guesses I’d probably get it correct, but I will never be able to recall the date.
It can be confusing, tracking the multiple lawsuits journalist E. Jean Carroll filed against Donald Trump, who sexually abused her in the 90s and then lied about it. The primaries are for voting 3rd party and the general is for falling in line in a FPtP system. It sucks, but it’s reality. Voting for anyone but the better candidate in the general directly benefits the lesser candidate. It’s your prerogative to vote how you want, but it’s important to note the above facts when doing so to be best informed.
All I proved is that your point has no merit. Like I said, how you vote is your choice, and that’s great, but there are implications to who you vote for. You can either accept the reality that in a FPtP system, there are two options, or you can live in imagination land and pretend that your actions mean something that they don’t.
If your moral compass tells you that voting for a third party candidate is what you need to do, then do it. Just know that it’s also a vote for Trump, and if you somehow think that’s a better option then voting for Biden, then you never had a moral compass to begin with.
To address your analogy, there are players in the game, 2 of them, and you’re talking about voting for the ref.
Here’s the deal… Nobody thinks he’s going to fix climate change, or that it’s possible that could even be accomplished by one administration in one term. When someone gives a speech to rile up their base and get voters emotionally invested, they don’t say things like, “We’re going to take steps to slow climate change”, because that’s boring. They go out there and make big statements like, “we’re going to take climate change, and kick its ass” because that’s what people want to hear and that’s what’s going to help get votes. As voters we then hope that steps are taken towards accomplishing that goal, knowing that climate change is going to get cured over night.
So like, meth heads? I’ve never heard someone in meth say it wasn’t addictive. So you think that someone shooting up meth is better than someone that smokes weed? Even the vast majority of stoners that didn’t talk about it almost at all?

There is a sales person that comes into work from time to time. She is from Wisconsin and is a hardcore Trump thumper, like it’s her whole identity. Last year she was bragging about not having a doctor anymore after her last one asked if she wanted the vaccine. These people can’t Darwin themselves out of the population fast enough.
OP addressed that by saying Russians are punished for speaking out. Anything short of a full country revolt will result in dead citizens. Small showings will just get literally squashed.
What is there left to sanction? Like, why is there any business at all taking place between the US and Russia? Is this more a plea to other nations to up their sanctions?
