Reddfugee42,

Narrator: “But no, they could not elaborate.”

Reddfugee42,

I remember learning in middle school that we’re supposed to define acronyms the first time we use them.

Reddfugee42,

Sort them… by what?

Reddfugee42,

Better how?

Reddfugee42,

It doesn’t have the audience.

People who are trying to spread a message might possibly consider that relevant but you know, geek out in the corner with the rest of the “I hate this fact” downvoters 😅

Reddfugee42,

Same reason I don’t like sony. They’re too busy telling the people who buy the fucking products what they’re allowed to do with them, and spend the rest of the time creating proprietary shit that traps their customers.

Hardware is great. Everything else is pretty much an abusive spouse.

Reddfugee42,

The hardware quality, seeing as I already spoke upon the programming and philosophy. Sorry, thought that was clear.

Reddfugee42,

That’s just cold brutal capitalism, the best kind when you’re an oligarch

Reddfugee42,

Yeah, the NSA isn’t already completely integrated into telco itself. It needs these other companies to execute its tasks. You get it.

Reddfugee42,

If you don’t think the NSA can read standard web encryption, well, that’s just adorable

How is everyone handling the 2FA requirement for GitHub? (docs.github.com)

Just wondering what people are using to meet the 2FA requirement GitHub has been rolling out. I don’t love the idea of having an authenticator app installed on my phone just to log into GitHub. And really don’t want to give them my phone number just to log in....

Reddfugee42,

If you’re not already using 2fa everywhere you can, you’re already doing it wrong.

Reddfugee42,

All security is annoying. Oh well.

Reddfugee42,

Brilliant. Until that website’s unsalted pw database is downloaded through a SQL injection.

Use both. You’re not smarter than security professionals.

Reddfugee42,

You only need a password for the ATM, not a card and a password, which are two factors?

Reddfugee42,

“Something you have” is absolutely not equivalent to “something you know”

You are completely unable to enter this conversation, but you think you’re the smartest one in the room.

I bet you’re insufferable.

Reddfugee42,

Called it

Reddfugee42,

What does OP do with all the time they save by not writing inga

Reddfugee42,

But it’s perfectly safe you guys. It would take a completely run of the mill virus from literally anywhere to get this data remotely. What are the chances?!

Philanthropist who gave $30M to U Manitoba condemns 'hateful' valedictory speech, university for allowing it (www.cbc.ca)

The philanthropist behind the University of Manitoba’s largest-ever personal donation — $30 million — has denounced a speech made by a valedictorian for medicine grads and admonished the university for letting it happen....

Reddfugee42,

NGAF. You know how shitty it is trying to use your money to silence dissenting opinions?

“I gave you money so if you disagree with me you’re disrespectful”

That’s really how it works for rich people isn’t it? And they’re so out of touch they don’t realize they should keep that shitlord opinion to themselves.

Reddfugee42,

Unless they’re applying some bias to the article this is just information and information is good.

Reddfugee42,

I simply point out that there are non-zionist Jews and let them stammer

Reddfugee42,
Reddfugee42,

Why does this say solved but there’s no update?

After the only hospital in town closed, a North Carolina city directs its ire at politicians (apnews.com)

Weeds have punctured through the vacant parking lot of Martin General Hospital’s emergency room. A makeshift blue tarp covering the hospital’s sign is worn down from flapping in the wind. The hospital doors are locked, many in this county of 22,000 fear permanently....

Reddfugee42,

The number of people showing up at the hospital is low, but for the ones that do they show up with incredibly expensive conditions.

Welp we’ve literally designed it that way so 🤷‍♂️

Reddfugee42,

‘Protect’ can imply it’s a victim of an unjust action. ‘Maintain’ may perhaps be a more neutral term.

Reddfugee42,

Yeah but half the nation sees that as a party plank

Reddfugee42,

That’s abuser talk.

“I didn’t want to kill her but she had the audacity to buy a handgun after years of my shitty behavior.”

See how that sounds?

Reddfugee42,

Next time you can just say, “You’re right.” when someone is right.

Reddfugee42,

Don’t forget she happily perpetuated Obama birther nonsense. She’s not innocent and hasn’t been from the get go.

Reddfugee42,

Making people think you’re going to hit them is literally illegal, even if you don’t follow through. It’s not just a rule, it’s also a law.

And yes , there are different jurisdictions for everything, but show me a jurisdiction that doesn’t have such a law

Reddfugee42,

Well now I’m even more interested in this opinions of mainstream politics 🙄

Russia mounts surprise assault on northern Ukraine in most serious cross-border offensive in two years (www.cnn.com)

Russian forces have made two cross-border assaults inside northern Ukraine, according to information from Ukrainian sources and officials, in what President Volodymyr Zelensky is calling a “new wave of counteroffensive actions” by Russia....

Reddfugee42,

Roevember rhymes with November.

What does Trumpvember rhyme with?

Fascists can’t meme.

Reddfugee42,

Exactly. If tourists are a problem, close down tourist attractions. We’ll wait.

Reddfugee42,

Can you highlight the comments that say we should be giving money to rich people?
