firecat,

And AI is wrong, what it failed to tell you is that this game is 3D with boring attacks gameplay and questionable storytelling because soon later the main character meets a female “hostile” and befriended her. YouTuber didn’t play it to the end because again, the storytelling wasn’t great. You can’t even explore the world either, very limited space to move. So, a working game but because Russia influenced it the studio(s) have no saying anything about the end result.

I’m a human and I’m telling you to stop using AI.

firecat,

I think you Americans are not understanding. It should have not gotten to be this bad, it shouldn’t repeat, the law should have worked and put people in jail. The fact that nothing works and the choice won’t matter, means they are better off hiding in public than caring about you Americans dumb little election.

firecat,

Cloudflare is totally collecting data, why else would they want you to disable Javascript blockers or fingerprint detection.

firecat,

No it’s not, bots are scripted to do things. Cloudflare stops JavaScript blockers, it’s not the same thing.

Another “Steam Deck is the reason” failure to cover the fact that once Steam Deck dies out it’s users also leave. Valve has awful hardware history and Steam Deck itself only runs games because they are the ones paying for Proton. It should not be controlled by a company that is known to make you lose your games.

firecat,

Valve has subscriptions you think CSGO loot and DOTA are free or something? Let me remind you that CSGO is also dead and replaced with CS2 with zero chance of playing the original. TF2 is never ever getting a update. TF1 is dead. Valve is part of the corporate system.

firecat,

Yes Valve has removed games, CSGO is gone, Artitic card game is gone, TF1 gone, etc. they are part of the Corporate World.

firecat,

No it’s you who is lying, you’re making shit up about alternate game instead of the original. The original is gone, you can’t play the original. It’s like saying portal 2 is the same game as 1, no it’s not.

firecat,

Not the strongest because Steam Machines with Alienware had problems and way too early during development of Proton that games couldn’t handle well. The controller was stolen IP and is still currently fighting the lawsuit. VR games are not great as people expected and rarely do new VR games arrived. Leaving the VR headset in storage for mostly the owners life. Lastly, the Steam Deck original has problems and announced updates or free ifix fixes just to not have drifting problems. Still the Steam Deck after the original has some issues with compatibility and deleting their data every update.

The company has poor track records for hardware. Valve is like the Sony of gaming, they lie about stuff and make you sign up to download the game in their closed ecosystem.

firecat,

Walmart is selling through the website or their partners website. The stuff is kept in storage until the item is deemed useless.

firecat,

Just tell the billion dollar company to allow people to download the games on their browser. The Client only exists as a means to DRM and analytics, there’s no actual reason for games not to become standalone.

firecat,

As someone who was during those times, your Zgen knowledge is very incorrect. The games did work, including Crisis (original). As to why the myth you hear from fellow Zgen gamers; it’s because graphics cards were invented. Brand new, no one knew what they were doing with them. The companys Renzen and Nvidia started sponsoring games, it’s how they became popular, their logos were part of the game, Metal Gear Solid revengeance is proof of this.

Steam had no part in gaming history, they were not the first online platform. Dell made wild target before Valve Corporation was founded. Lootbox was invented before Steam launched it, Yahoo games (anyone remember them) in japan had the concept down to almost todays standards. Valve had nothing to do with gaming history, they are just known for their lawsuits and anti competitive behavior.

firecat,

The Iphone wasn’t part of touchscreen technology either. They were just the first to try heating sensors. It’s still being used in android devices too. The ability to use physical sensors is gone. Apple killed it off.

Valve is in a lawsuit, do your research next time: https://news.bloomberglaw.com/antitrust/valve-loses-bid-to-end-antitrust-case-over-steam-gaming-platform

firecat,

Valve loves money and it clearly shows. The steam awards just became an advertising tool, people in Valve had to write the paragraph about the game.

firecat,

No they don’t care about the service, we should be able to play games without steam client, we should be able to resell digital games, developers should not had to pay $100 non refundable fees to upload one game each time, etc.

Steam cares about money, it’s just that simple.

firecat,

Ubisoft has proven itself to remove games from the market and become unplayable. You also legally agree in the Steam User Agreement that all games in Steam don’t belong to you. This isn’t a legal copyrighted material but the concept of ownership of the game at all in Steam is legally prohibited to own.

firecat,

It’s way worse because it’s not EULA, it’s the Steam User Agreement contract. The same contract that says if you agree, you can not sue Valve corporation. The same contract that decides to sell your data to 3rd parties. The same contract for locking your account in any reason or time.

EULA protects games from being sold on shady websites and the developers. Steam User Agreement doesn’t protect anyone against Valve Corporation.

Muslim leaders in swing states pledge to ‘abandon’ Biden over his refusal to call for ceasefire [Dec 03 2023 | Edward Helmore | The Guardian] (www.theguardian.com)

“We are not powerless as American Muslims. We are powerful. We don’t only have the money, but we have the actual votes. And we will use that vote to save this nation from itself,” Hussein said. “Families and children are being wiped out with our tax dollars,” he added. “What we are witnessing today is the tragedy...

firecat,

Incorrect, they can vote for 3rd parties. Americans people need to know a 3rd party exists instead of money grabbing politicians who spend billions on ads.

firecat,

People had died and gang wars were made. That’s how popular anime and media got inspiration to get crime stories started.

firecat,

It is a joke, Valve self proclaimed they sold their products in their website. We have zero evidence or 3rd parties to look into. They can lie and no one will know the truth.

The Steam Deck is changing how normies think of gaming PCs.

Just thought I’d share something I thought was pretty interesting. I have a mother in law who is… well let’s just say she’s a stereotypical older mom who doesn’t own a computer, just an iPad. During the pandemic, she started getting into Nintendo games and bought herself a Switch. Fast forward a few years later and...

firecat,

No, this is incorrect, OP thought steam deck is ok because the games are exclusively only in steam. OP never try to consider her mother-in-law. Giving someone linux and just assuming they understand is not going to help make them like the game or machine.

Steam Deck VS rivals

I was interested in buying a Steam Deck… Until I discovered all the (apparently) better alternatives. Asus Rog Ally, OneXPlayer, Aya Neo etc… I like the idea of an handheld console and obviously I would like to have a device that can run almost everything, so the Windows based handhelds seem better than the Steam Deck. Is it...

firecat,

You should not just assumed a large community is telling the truth about their products. Steam Deck is still just a machine that requires Proton to work. You are at the mercy of Valve corp and the community. If a game doesn't work than the game will not work. Steam Deck is not amazing in what people here have told you, it's a machine that runs limited Steam games, nothing else mattered.

firecat,

You cant run DRM games or online, MMO or anything that makes the game have their files locked away for a reason. So, no. You can not Play all games.
