You will likely hear the fan tear itself apart from outside of the room, such an event is absolutely loud enough to be heard from outside the door, plus the fact that the little bits of fan that are left afterwards will probably continue spinning and likely bumping into the ceiling (if it’s hanging from the wires).

Ceiling fan is going and a regular fixture put in instead. This seems like a closet or storage room anyway (there are no windows), no real need for a fan like that in a space like this.

I installed NetGuard about a month ago and blocked all internet to apps, unless they’re on a whitelist. No notifications from this particular system app (that can’t be disabled) until recently when it started making internet connection requests to google servers. Does anyone know when this became a thing?...

Their definition of evil was insubordination, their way of telling people to listen to them, while also trying to legitimize their message.

I don’t own any jeans but I feel very similar and always wear pants when I sleep.

I think you’re misunderstanding, this isn’t a raspberry Pi type emulation device, this is a hardware clone of the chips in a real GBC, it even plays the original cartridges, and also flashcarts (well mostly, there’s a few kinks there because it’s new).

@snek Maybe you could Crosspost this to !politicalmemes if you’re on mobile and don’t have crosspost button just make a new post using the same link as this post https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/20e095d5-b044-4e69-b1d7-486f63ac3037.png and it’ll count as a crosspost. So long as it’s the same link.

That’s probably the reason why version instances disable downvotes. At least they aren’t counted against users like they are on Reddit with Timeouts, removals, and shadowbans.

Probably finish all of my builds and farms, build a lot of new and awesome builds before eventually begging for help from the other members of the server at least assuming I’m trapped in that world specifically, if I can go to others it might be a bit longer before I try to get help.

Animal crossing certainly isn’t the worst one to be stuck in but the limited nature of it quickly becomes apparent since you can’t really ever leave the island (you can visit other islands, but you can’t move there and you also can’t visit the mainland).

Sometimes you might want some variety, like you might want to go on vacation to some exotic places.

Games today (also games in the mid 90s) tend to focus on graphics and not as much gameplay, problem with this is that they tend to age poorly, which is why Atari, Famicom, and C64 games are well remembered and still being played to this day but Amiga games aren’t as much, they were primarily designed for graphics and thus look dated today.

It’s also why many Indie games embrace the retro style and game mechanics instead of going for graphical wows. These games are just relevant and enjoyed for longer.
