Isoprenoid,

Do you really want to work for a company that allows their HR department to abuse AI as a tool?

Isoprenoid,

content curation will be managed by “a licensed library media specialist, an individual with a master’s degree in library sciences or library and information sciences, or a professional librarian or person with extensive library collection management experience."

Cool, now we know who to bribe / influence / coerce. I don’t know if this is a win for at-risk groups.

Isoprenoid,

You missed my point.

If a small committee can make the call, then that committee can be coerced for power. Especially if that committee gets little pay (in your words).

If you don’t want fascism, then you want to avoid consolidation of power.

Again, this sounds like a win on the surface, but I fear library staff being harassed.

Isoprenoid, (edited )

What if we just choose a role who decides what is and isn’t harassment? Just like how Minnesota chose a role that decides what books should be banned.

The way to avoid fascism is to keep power away from bigoted demagogues.

And there are no librarians that are bigoted demagogues?

Isoprenoid,

Now, now, don’t be hasty. Sony can still screw it up somehow.

Isoprenoid,

what would be one more if I hadn’t already had a PSN account.

One more attack vector to gain access to all your other accounts across the internet.

Isoprenoid,

It’s over a decade ago so here is a video for those OOTL.

You could move your mouse and the container would move causing the beads to fly around.

They did a similar thing for Black and White where you could drag your mouse across the screen to mess with the stars.

Isoprenoid,

What is this?! A healthy relationship based on trust and communication? I came here to laugh at dysfunction, get out of here. /s

Isoprenoid,

There are millions of them. You wouldn’t know it though, because they don’t announce themselves.

Isoprenoid,

You forgot the absurd punchline.

Other Scientist: “Jesus Christ. I guess we shouldn’t study science because this is what we get from it.”

That’s so it gets interpreted as a light ribbing.

It would be mean to say it about something that is actually serious.

Could I get the opinion of a MTG player? Would you put this card into your deck?

Posters: Uses them to further hack the nature of reality, just in other ways

Isoprenoid,

The objects are only meant to hack your own, private reality.

So they induce a kind of psychosis? Ah, sweet. Man-made horrors beyond my comprehension. 😜
