ASML Holding NV and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. have ways to disable the world’s most sophisticated chipmaking machines in the event that China invades Taiwan, according to people familiar with the matter....
They were exceptionally difficult to find to install the app. That alone will keep them from being successful. Add to that that the app is not particularly impressive… I’m not sure if their chances.
I found this app that helps to mitigate this issue. It disables fingerprint if your phone gets too far away from a Bluetooth wearable or in several other conditions. It’s worth looking into for sure though it is only in preview for now.
I think it’s an excellent choice for anybody that’s got to wearable. You could probably do all this with past or two if you had the free time, which I do not.
Yeah. It’s pretty rad. I’ve been playing with it all day.
If I set my watch and airplane mode it also immediately locks the phone, but it also does that when it goes out of range. It looks like the app should work with any Bluetooth device so any wearable should work just fine or even earphones if you really wanted.
In Sky: Children of the Light you can let yourself get taken by the hand, and the other player guides/plays for you and you barely need to do anything anymore. Felt a bit absurd and funny, but interesting nonetheless. Certainly unique. It was also very good to eat some snacks and watch yourself progress while doing so. bee happy...

I was going to say replaying but I feel like that limits the question to games like Prey or Fallout New Vegas that have endings and games like The Sims 2 or Cities Skylines where you can play indefinitely end up excluded....
Maybe I’m too much of a goof but I haven’t noticed any ads and I haven’t found any way to turn them off either. Is this only in the desktop version or is it also in the mobile version? Normally I just use the mobile version.
Yes. They thought they could keep skimming. The problem is that their (and everyones, really) business model is predicated on YOY growth and when it doesn’t happen, they fire people to try and recapture funds.
Most likely an app updater written by someone who is too lazy to make their updater hidden.
As others suggested, look in task scheduler, but make sure you run it elevated. Focus on any updater that’s calling an app from a bat file, and move out from there.
Honestly it can be really tricky to keep that crap from popping up and if the guy that wrote the install did it all dirty and didn’t hide his windows, calling a boatload of processes, it can be truly difficult for the guy that writes the updater to keep everything hidden.
Wait for the next update cycle. Lol. I’ve tracked these kinds of things down in the past. It’s tough. Look into procmon and taskmon if it bugs you again, and godspeed my friend.

I will be honest. I didn’t read that article because it’s too click-baity. Using gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-share/ I see that Firefox is about 3% of 5b users. Not insignificant.
That 3% is about 150mil users. IMO, less than it should be. Google has great security, but terrible privacy. I switched middle of last year, from brave to FF for reasons I won’t get into here. Suffice it to say, they are numerous.
It truly is troubling that they don’t have independent funding. I, for one would pay $10/y for this service. Maybe I could donate?
Firefox is Mozilla’s cash cow, it’s how they’re earning funds for their charitable work. And google btw isn’t the only one paying them, which search engine is the default depends on where you are.
Thank you that’s wonderful news! I don’t have the time to keep up on browser news like that so I truly appreciate the information.
