Shadowedcross,

Bethesda tries to make paid mods a thing, everyone hates it. Bethesda when they do it again and again the community hates it:

Shadowedcross,

+1 for seamless co-op. Since I first tried it, I swore off the native co-op, it’s honestly in a league of its own.

Shadowedcross,

Not sure how that relates to games being ported to PC.

Shadowedcross,

I mean, I don’t think they’re any slower to release new games than anyone else. I also don’t think the next Spider-Man or whatever is going to come out any slower because of ports either, since I think a different studio handles most of the porting work, I don’t know about remasters, though. Like this year, they’re releasing 5 new games, and they usually release at least 3 a year. Could they release more? Maybe, but games take longer to make than ever before.

Shadowedcross,

They delay the PC release in hopes that you’ll buy a PS5 to play the sequel. I doubt it’s a very effective strategy, though.

Shadowedcross,

It matters for most, and if it doesn’t matter, then you would probably just buy it regardless. It’s always additional content, and probably worth it to you if its cost might as well be 0.

Shadowedcross,

I don’t understand the thoughts of Sony executives, but I guess I’m just not exec material. This will only lead to a decrease in sales, probably a substantial amount, both from people being literally unable to play it, and also from people now refusing to buy it. So what, pray tell, is the advantage to it? Do they think they’ll get more back from selling people’s data than they’ll have lost in sales?

Shadowedcross,

Yeah, I sure as shit wouldn’t use the internet if it wasn’t anonymous, seems like a weird thing to want when people are more concerned for their privacy then ever before.

Shadowedcross,

Cool. Hope it has mod support unlike Forza, or at least doesn’t prohibit it. VR would be nice as well since the only options for racers in VR are sims, or F1.

Shadowedcross,

This is how it’s been so far right? I wouldn’t expect anything to change with a new co-CEO.

Shadowedcross,

Yeah there are enough games in my backlog that I don’t mind waiting a year or two for the PC port.

Shadowedcross,

I’m fine with games coming out ‘more frequently’, so long as it’s because they have the same development time but are staggered. Like Witcher coming out mid development of Cyberpunk, meaning the next Cyberpunk will come out mid development of the next Witcher, etc.

Shadowedcross,

Valve don’t usually do “easy cash grabs” though, and while I seriously doubt it’ll be able to meet the insane expectations people have for it, I doubt it’ll be shit.

Shadowedcross,

Steam basically IS PC gaming, and probably has more active users than Xbox or Playstation, maybe even combined. There’s no way it’s worth any less than Activison Blizzard

Shadowedcross,

Sure, let them think it works perfectly and then have them complain to Valve when they don’t even have the option to play the MP mode, great idea.

Shadowedcross,

Kinda sick of the live action adaptations, the OP show is good but it also made more sense since there was already an animated version.

Shadowedcross,

Turns out Boeing helped make the warp nacelles too.

Shadowedcross,

5th of June, or even still June 5th, because it doesn’t have to match the order of the date format.

Shadowedcross,

I mean, for passengers I think it could be cool, I doubt anyone sane would say use it while you yourself are driving.

Shadowedcross,

It might make Valve unlikely to make another game and a lot of people, including myself, would be hugely disappointed but I don’t think it would have any major negative effects beyond those two.

Shadowedcross,

I didn’t even know seedless watermelons were a thing, so it saddens me to discover that they are, and that they’re bad, since the main reason I don’t like watermelons is having to deal with the seeds.

Shadowedcross,

The more competition Sims has, the better. Maybe EA will actually try and innovate… HAHA. I’ve been keeping an eye on Paralives and Life By You, and there are a couple others coming as well, I think. It’ll be a good time to be a life sim fan in the next couple years.

Shadowedcross,

You think you can take on a wolf? They aren’t chihuahuas you know.

Shadowedcross,

See, I find that level of confidence more realistic, like maybe I could take on a wolf, rather than it being an obvious fact.

Shadowedcross,

It’s also a lot better than there being no demo at all, which too many games are guilty of.

EDIT: meant to reply to another comment, whoops.

Shadowedcross,

I think there would be meaning in you fucking off, EA.

Shadowedcross,

Seems to be the in thing for companies to destroy any and all goodwill they have.

Shadowedcross,

One and the same as far as they’re concerned.

Shadowedcross,

As others have said, you don’t need to play the old ones, and I doubt Sony will bring them to PC, so your best bet is probably emulation if you really wanna play them.

Shadowedcross,

There is hair dye for dogs, don’t know if it’s actually different from human hair dye though.

Shadowedcross,

For sure. Not sure which I’d say is more accessible between CK3 and Stellaris, but both are vastly more accessible than CK2 and EU4.

Shadowedcross,

If you don’t have a full motion sim rig, are you even trying bro?

Shadowedcross,

I’ve heard some people say it’s a decent game but I’m not sure if I could bring myself to play it since it seems to have almost satirical levels of sexualization, which I find kinda off-putting.

Shadowedcross,

I think it remains to be seen whether he’ll do voice acting for further media, that doesn’t feature Conroy as Batman.

Shadowedcross,

I think Valve likes to wait until the technology has become available for the sequel to be a massive improvement in every aspect, which I can respect.

Shadowedcross,

Ah, you see, the issue is that it wasn’t profitable enough. You just gotta try harder, devs, it’s easy.

Shadowedcross,

I feel like all the people who would’ve been willing to start big modding projects left years ago…

Shadowedcross,

One of my favourite games to have kernel level anticheat is Helldivers 2, and I think it’s definitely caused a few issues for me.

Shadowedcross,

I mean, perhaps with some video games, but I think it’s unlikely for Fallout, of all things.
