Xbox is offering voluntary severance agreements to producers, quality assurance testers and other staff at ZeniMax as part of a broader cost-cutting initiative
Hi all, I have already asked this question on the KDE forum and didn’t get many responses really, so I’m coming here for help. Any idea how to fix the caps lock key and make it work faster instead of THis? Thank you
I actually found that option (damn plasma has everything lol) and selecting it killed the capslock completely. However, doing whatever the person did in the link without the option selected fixed the issue.
Pop os has an app store called “pop shop”, that has both apt and flatpaks. Get all of your apps from there. They also have an app installed called “eddy” that you can use to install .deb packages in case an app is not available in their app store and you had to download the .deb package for it. Also, I know pop os has an outdated desktop, but they’ve been working tirelessly on their rust based cosmic desktop and it’s coming along pretty nicely (an alpha release is coming soon). They do maintain their current distro no problem. I honestly would stick with it and set it up to your liking. It’s a very good distro. As for your OneDrive, that can work with Linux no problem. You can also use Google drive on Linux.
I just got a OnePlus 12 and this phone is fantastic. Bootloader is unlocked and you can do whatever you want. Battery is amazing. Charger is insane. Camera is more than decent. Price is very reasonable for what it offers.
Oh damn, so you can program your regular letters to do that!!! Nice. I’m JUST starting to get into mechanical keyboards and don’t really know much. I have a Corsair K70 pro RGB with red buttons. It’s nice, but I just can’t get used to typing on it. I’m always hitting two buttons at a time. I have to lift my fingers really high and type. Second issue is the metallic ping. So, I’ve been doing some research to find me something I enjoy and also easy to type on. I love the clickitty clacks (or what they call thock). 😁
I can solder and do all that, but I honestly don’t want to now after watching how the process could be very lengthy. I’ll look into keychrone. Having dedicated media keys is a very important thing to me, if a keyboard doesn’t have it, I won’t even look at it. Thank you for the recommendation. Do you have any model number in mind that you recommend? I like red switches and 100% size keyboard
As title says, once Valve announced the OLED deck, I saw the refurbished originals go on a deep discount and figured it was time to buy in. Genuine question, is enaulating older systems, with ROMs/ISOs you get off the Internet, considered piracy? No current systems, only older ones. Newest one is PS3. Is this piracy?
Edit: ok, thank you, everyone. I emulate very old games because it’s a nostalgia thing. Games I played when I was very young and I wanted to play them again. I don’t emulate anything new as I have a huge collection of physical copies of games I played on newer systems like the PS4.
This thing is blazing fast. And when I say blazing fast, I mean freaking blazing fast. I’ve never seen a browser this fast my entire life. Lol It’s chrome but 10x faster. Give it a shot.
Well, you have two options. The same developer of thorium does have a Firefox one and it’s called mercury. Blazing fast, too. Or you can install adblock detection bypass extension on thorium. It is an extension that’s made to work with chrome alongside ublock origin to bypass YouTube adblock detection. In fact, I literally just ran into that issue today and the other extension fixed it.
I’ve just built a PC last month and it’s where I’m going to be from now on. I’m so sick of console’s going the extra mile to squeeze every last penny out of us with their PS+ bullshit. I’ll just use steam for the new games I like playing and emulate all the old games. It’s been so much fun figuring things out. Better picture. Better FPS and the mouse and keyboard are much better than a controller. I can’t believe I’ve missed out on PC all these years.
I got an AMD ryzen 7 5700G CPU 8 cores 16 threads here. an AMD RX580 graphics card(very old card from 2017 but works amazing here. Modular 750 wats crosair power supply here. 16GB of ddr4 ram at 3200 mhz (any brand works don’t worry) here. A gigabyte motherboard A520i here.. I picked a montech case mini tower here.
Edit: I already had the storage from a dell mini I had before this one. I now have 512 SSD for the root partition. 1 TB 2.5" SATA SSD for the home partition and a third 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD to store all my games on and for the steam library.
I have tried it. It was actually pretty decent. You can even upgrade the screen to a higher resolution now if you feel adventurous. Or you can just install holoOS (the steam deck OS) on a smaller PC and set it up to your tv and game all day with a controller. Or you can dock the steam deck to your TV and connect any controller to it. With linux, the possibilities are endless.
