“Inspired” by the Square-Enix putting their foot in their mouth thread, I thought it’d be interesting to make a little thread about indie games. People always talk about wanting to try different, cheaper titles, but with how hard it is to get good gaming news and the state of advertisement/marketing, word of mouth tends to...

The Fallout fandom can be divided into two camps, Fallout fans and Bethesda fans. I don’t like Bethesda Fallout and from the little I watched of the show it wasn’t anything for me. 5/10 at best. I don’t care about ”the lore” or any discrepancies, I just thought it wasn’t very good.
The Witcher works because Geralt is a character, same with Shephard. Joe Generic in Fallout 4 is so boring because they are trying to still have the make your own character aspect intact.
Lmao why. You turn on Netflix when you want to watch movies or TV shows, the battle is already lost in less than a second if you want people to care about your video games.
No clue how these games think they’re gonna stay relevant by costing money, no one will buy this when the market is flooded with free multiplayer games. Only a few games have managed to not die immediately, like Dead By Daylight.
Can’t believe it took me so long to get around to playing this but I’m so glad I did. Dishonored is still my favorite of theirs but now I’ve played all their games and they are easily my favorite studio because of their rich storytelling and immersive world design....
Most of the video games I’ve played were pretty good. The only one I can think of that I didn’t like was MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS. Dropped that pretty quickly. It was a long while ago, but I’ll guess it was because there were too many fetch quests and annoying controls.
“Competitive” multiplayer games in general. I miss it when multiplayer games were just fun and not streamlined misery simulators where the attitude is everyone is an idiot except yourself.
I know it’s popular to fart on Overwatch 2, but even when the original came out I thought it was so fucking dull. The No Man Sky quote “Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle” can very well explain the hero roster of that game.
I’d rather do a barefoot pilgrimage to Jerusalem than play CS:GO, League of Legends, Overwatch, Fartnite, Valorant, etc.
Team Fortress 2 is unbalanced and janky, and it’s 1000x more fun than any of those games. It even proved that the competitive crowd could do their own thing that suit their needs, instead of ruining a game to the ground with “balance” and unfun gameplay.
Co-op games are definitely the only fun I’ve had in multiplayer for the longest time. Toxicity can still be found (Looking at you Payday 2), but overall they are a more wholesome, chill and more importantly FUN experiences.

Not counting games that were unfun because of bugs, what’s the most unfun video game that you’ve played and what made it unfun?
