That’s really great news for Owlcat! Hopefully with the upcoming final DLC for Wrath of the Righteous they can iron out a few remaining bugs and get that verified too!
Both can be true: Russia can lack numbers to make a strategic breakthrough, and Ukraine can simultaneously not be able to field enough materiel to be able to recapture their losses.
IMO the most likely outcome is a stalemate that turns into de jure conquest of the territory Russia has captured and it turns into a cold (or at least cooler) war.
Fingers crossed the effects mentioned in the Chronos fight fixes an issue I had the other day - I was having a really good run with a strong build, but after the transition to phase 2 I was stuck in slow motion and stood no chance.
It is really nice knowing that I can safely vote for our “green” party without risking our conservative party getting in because the centre-left party loses too many votes.
Also, voting being mandatory (and very accessible) and on a Sunday for federal elections is such a game changer for ensuring participation.
Hopefully you guys can get reforms in at some point.
It’s great to see a studio clearly and transparently taking on user feedback. So often these demos feel like they’re only for drumming up sales and nothing more.
As someone who’s only dabbled in Homeworld before, I’m now excited to revisit the remaster and potentially buy #3 whereas before I had only passing interest.
After ~450 hours in the game, I realized something that I’d been wanting was in the game the whole time, just not explicitly: a way to put your items into “folders”....
Be careful putting quest items in though. I had one of the nether stones in one, and an update glitched the mod causing the bag with the stone to disappear and soft locking my game (until I downloaded the cheat engine to flip the game state, but it was a very close thing).
I think there’s a distinction - I would consider an “update” with new content to be something minor (such as BG3’s recent epilogue content). “Free DLC” to me is a much more hefty addition, such as the Godmaster DLC for Hollow Knight.
(Disclaimer: I’ve not watched this trailer since I’m at work)
That’s a fair point. Maybe it comes down to “is this something that you expect should have been in the game to begin with, or is it something extra that the Devs have added over and beyond?”.
Definitely a very broad term to the point of near-meaninglessness though.
I think it’s quite telling that Starfield only showed up once, despite being one of the most hyped games of the year. Skyrim and Fallout 3 were both strong GOTY, IIRC, so to me it feels like Bethesda have lost their way.
So many strong games here! I’m a little biased since I’ve not played many of these, but I’m hoping BG3 cleans house.
