FakeGreekGirl,

I mean, for me, it means both. I’m a big believer in FDR’s concept of four freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.

FakeGreekGirl,

Personally, I kinda roll Freedom of Expression into Freedom of Speech. Because any form of expression is essentially speech, even if it doesn’t use words to speak.

FakeGreekGirl,

That. It’s funny, but I get in a lot of disagreements online, and very rarely does someone call me Hitler or a Nazi or what not.

As the saying goes, if five people call you an ass, buy a saddle.

FakeGreekGirl,

That. Your vote is a powerful weapon, and you can tell it is by how hard they work to take it away. And we need to bring all our weapons to bear if we’re going to make it through this. That means vote, but it also means don’t stop at voting.

FakeGreekGirl,

Who said anything about equal splits?

There are a number of worker owned co-ops out there, and precisely none of them are run like you describe.

FakeGreekGirl,

The post office has problems largely because of a decades-long campaign by one of our two major political parties to neuter it completely for the benefit of private shipping companies. And the funny part is, for all their efforts, it’s still pretty damn good at its core mission.

What’s the issue with fire departments? They’re pretty great.

FakeGreekGirl,

Ah, OK. Sorry for reading sarcasm in where none was intended.

Seems like every time people bring up the postal service, it’s to shit on them, and I’m just here like, they’re pretty fucking rad all things considered.

FakeGreekGirl,

I don’t really have a favorite Sailor Moon character or pony. But my favorite X-Men character is Rogue. Does that help?

FakeGreekGirl,

Most of them, you can remove the bars with an Allen wrench.

Not that I would know anything about that.

FakeGreekGirl,

I remember renting that game back in the day and not getting very far, so I have no idea if that’s an actual screenshot or not. But it should be.

Also that game was most non-triumphant, but this is a most excellent message.

FakeGreekGirl,

It wasn’t point and click, but yeah, same general idea.

FakeGreekGirl,

Excellent!

FakeGreekGirl,

The other 696 are running on wheels to power the engine.

FakeGreekGirl,

Scabby doesn’t take kindly to scabs.

FakeGreekGirl,

They’re conquering Rome. I’d be happy too

FakeGreekGirl,

Using an off-the-shelf gamepad for the controls was part of that cheap/lazy design philosophy.

Of course a Logitech pad isn’t a good idea to drive a submarine. It isn’t meant to be one.

FakeGreekGirl,

As an aspiring monsterfucker, I choose option B.

FakeGreekGirl,

Firefox is pretty much the last major browser that is not derived from Webkit. If they go, then browsers are a monoculture, and that’s a problem.

FakeGreekGirl,

IGN did one about Nintendo announcing a Virtual Boy Pro that you slot a Switch into a la Google Cardboard. That one almost got me, until I got deeper into the article and saw some of the more ridiculous quotes.

FakeGreekGirl,

Me neither. I can only assume there was some news item about right wingers wetting their pants over fruit cups that I missed.

And honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised. They wet their pants about everything.

FakeGreekGirl,

And queer people aren’t?

FakeGreekGirl,

Fair. We’re still tasty though

FakeGreekGirl,

Maybe you don’t. I’m an absolute snack.

FakeGreekGirl,

That should be the point, but in modern politics (especially in the US, but also in much of the western world from what I can tell), the people calling themselves conservatives have tipped over into reactionary/fascist territory, and the liberals have rushed into the void they left and taken over the “No change/slow change” position.

FakeGreekGirl,

Yeah, the forces actually fighting for positive change are usually labeled as progressives or leftists now, and we have little representation in many world governments at the moment (certainly very little in the US).

FakeGreekGirl,

I mean, that version works pretty well for the Wachowskis.

FakeGreekGirl,

There’s a lot. Like the way Agent Smith (representing the system) constantly disrespects Neo’s identity and deadnames him.

FakeGreekGirl,

Came here to make a Young Justice reference. I’m whelmed that you beat me to it.

FakeGreekGirl,

We’ll also need to oust the current Israeli government and ban Netanyahu from being re-elected. This is all at least as much his fault as it is Hamas’s, he’s been building it for decades, and if he is allowed to retain office, he’ll just do it again.

FakeGreekGirl,
FakeGreekGirl,

No worries. The Ribbit King series is a really fun one. I’d love to get ahold of the actual game and try it some time.
