I spent about the same on a couple of stash tabs during a sale. I don't regret it. The game gave me a couple of hundred hours of fun. That's more than most games
I've been playing V Rising PvE with a friend. Pretty fun game. Much less grind than typical survival or basebuilding games. But the bosses are quite hard to compensate.
I'm currently playing V Rising with a friend on a private server. I like survival games but I hate PvP, raiding and griefers. So far it's pretty good fun! Like a mix between a Diablo-like ARPG and something like Valheim. You don't need to grind resources so much, you collect plenty just playing. The focus is more on combat. Some bosses are pretty tough and progress is gated behind them.
It's been tried multiple times and it just doesn't work. Physics (the speed of light) ultimately dictates latency. Streaming only works for a rather small subset of games that doesn't rely on reaction time or latency at all. And then only works for people who play those games a lot (you're not going to sub to a streaming game service if the majority of the games you want to play don't work on it). There's a reason Google Stadia died.
Hollow Knight. I love that game but I am in my mid 40s and my reaction time isn't what it used to be. And it's not even the bosses. I just can't make it past the spike section where you have to air-dash all over the place and can't be a millimeter off or you die.
There are plenty of public toilets that charge a small fee. Train stations and airports for example. Also at gas stations it's pretty common. But I have never seen it at a restaurant or bar. Maybe sometimes there's a sign that says it's 50 cents for non-customers or something. But never for customers.
Yes. This post apocalyptic wasteland in the far future is littered with cans of Monster Energy drink which act as healing potions. So it's not like you can avoid them either.
Still conquering the Old World in "Total War: Warhammer". I'm playing as Dwarves. I killed almost all greenskin tribes and conquered the Badlands. Now turning my attention north to the undead.
I grabbed "Total War: Warhammer" in the steam sale last week. I'm about 35 turns in trying to wipe the greenskin scum from my ancestral dwarven lands. I like it so far! I've never played any other Total War games.
I'm debating whether to get "Total War: Warhammer" (just part 1) and/or "V rising". They both appeal to me but I'm a frugal/patient gamer and the deals don't appear to be that special
Hi. Apologies if this is not the correct community. It appears that recently my Disney+ on my Samsung TV has started autoplaying the next episode in a series. But in my profile, autoplay has been turned off. Having autoplay off used to work fine but now it started autoplaying again....

I picked up Diablo 3 a while ago but didn't really play until now. Finished the campaign, jumped to adventure mode, got my 6 piece set and I'm now grinding for ancients. I just finished a greater rift lvl 100. It's fun so far but I should probably have started a seasonal character instead of a standard. But I'm too lazy to do it all again.
Ridge Racer was awesome and just so much better than the other racing games at the time. Especially when you put the camera just a few inch from the asphalt.
A Starfield remake, of sorts, has been created in 48 hours, incorporating seamless travel between planets, something missing from the actual Bethesda RPG.
What's fun about getting ganked by overengineered griefers hunting newbies at the first engineering station that the game points you to? I jumped to solo after that. Fuck that.
My mom likes to play No Man’s Sky and Valheim, but her Asus TUF started freezing on games. RMA found no problems and sent it back to her but it still happens. I ordered a Legion for her but now I see these posts about all Nvidia 40-series laptops freezing up. What’s a gaming mom supposed to do?
I have an Acer Nitro 5 too and I would recommend against it on fan noise alone. Saying that it's very loud is an understatement. It's absurd how loud it is even under light loads. It's like sitting in a jet on take-off.
My wife has an Asus ROG and it is much, much quieter when gaming than mine is when idling. So, I'd say get the ROG, not the Nitro.
Wizard with a gun - I really enjoyed this one. Can't wait to try the finished game coop with friends
The Invincible - Looks promising, the story sounds great but the controls were pretty unintuitive
Gord - The Settlers meets Grimdark. I enjoyed it
Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival - A pretty janky hobbyist project. Pretty impressive for a solo dev but I don't see it going anywhere
Station to Station - Looked great visually but very easy and very little depth. Not a sim but a simple puzzle game.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods - Clearly fishing for a D&D license. I can smell the microtransactions coming a mile away. Little depth or strategy. No thank you.
While the iron's hot - Stardew Valley but you're a blacksmith. I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected.
