FlorianSimon,

As the person who replied to you rightfully said, the persons you decry are mostly French, you said so yourself. The people you want to be “locked out” of the country cannot be deported - which country would they go to if they’re French and French only?

Your original point is wrong. Controlling immigration will do nothing to solve the insecurity RN voters perceive, because the North Africans they hate so much will still remain in France.

FlorianSimon,

Fuck the guardian for lumping together fascists with leftist movements.

FlorianSimon,

That, and their leverage is pretty weak. Small dogs bark the loudest.

FlorianSimon,

A few years back, I had to compile a kernel with random patches to get the trackpad running on my razer blade (2018) working.

When it works, it’s magic. I got better power usage using powertop than I was getting on Windows. When it doesn’t, it’s not something someone with no tech experience can fix, sadly.

FlorianSimon,

What they meant was in fact: “I thought I could get away with it”. I call BS on them not knowing it would get ppl angry.

FlorianSimon,

It is, you just need the proton bridge. I use it on a Mac and it works well.

FlorianSimon,

It was peak pricing at the time. That’s how I understand it.

Germany Is Seizing Jews’ Money Again: It’s fine, they’re pro-Palestine (novaramedia.com)

A pro-Palestine Jewish activist group has had its bank account frozen in Germany for the second time in seven years, after the bank requested a full list of its members’ details in what experts believe is a breach of German law. The group suspects the move was triggered by its involvement in a forthcoming pro-Palestine...

FlorianSimon,

I think you forgot to mention space reptilians 🫠

FlorianSimon,

Zuber eats is a known pro-Russian troll. You can safely ignore them, they’re not acting in good faith.

FlorianSimon,

Oh, believe me, I tried. Paradox of tolerance, yadda yadda yadda.

Best I can do right now is let people know there’s no point in engaging with trolls. We don’t want to encourage them and give them a platform they’ll use to spread their nazbol propaganda.

FlorianSimon,

We can all sit down and sing Kumbaya. While we do that, they’ll have free reign to propagate their conspiracy theories and hate.

I don’t engage seriously with them anymore, I’ve been burnt too many times. I don’t want to give them more visibility than they already have.

I want people to know immediately what they’re dealing with, because these guys don’t play by the rules.

FlorianSimon,

The topic of discussion is how to prevent them from doing any harm, rather than which space crocodile is secretly controlling us with mind-control lasers, or whatever their lunacy-of-the-day may be. This is a win. They’re being exposed without giving them the satisfaction of censoring them. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

This is not high-school debate club. Anyone with a modicum of media litteracy knows you don’t give a platform to Russian shills, or anyone peddling any kind of similarly lunatic propaganda for that matter. If you want to know more, read their post history. The reason that you don’t do that is that the minute they get sufficient mindshare, they’ll be more than happy to bend the rules of civil discussion. We’re talking about people defending China and its censorship, after all.

And look, you’re more than welcome to criticize American imperialism and liberal hypocrisy. But shilling for authoritarian regimes is a red line any leftist worthy of the name should not cross.

FlorianSimon,

Pretty rich coming from the guy coming from the fukken US of A, of all places.

FlorianSimon,

I’m not blaming you or the person I responded to. But maybe they should take a look at their own backyard before calling any place a corrupt shithole

FlorianSimon,

You guys are going to hell. This is terrible and lazy 🤭

After boots on the ground comment, French PM doubles down: 'Putins troops are already in our country', pointing at Le Pen (www.lemonde.fr)

By raising for the first time the idea of sending troops to Ukraine, the French leader “has taken a further step toward belligerence,” blasted his rival Marine Le Pen, of the far-right Rassemblement National (RN) party. She accused him of “posing an existential risk to 70 million French people, and more particularly to our...

FlorianSimon,

Oooh, sick burn?

Is that what you meant?

FlorianSimon,

Not gonna lie, it gave me a moment of pause too, even as a French speaker.

FlorianSimon,

Malade is used that way in Quebec, probably as a direct translation from English I’d assume.

FlorianSimon,

Maybe because they’re selling property at a loss? I don’t actually know, just guessing

FlorianSimon,

Shit food is self-selecting out of the food selection business. About time.

FlorianSimon,

Bf1 was met with strong criticism but sold very well and was excellent (IMO)

FlorianSimon,

Battlebit successfully recaptured the spirit of older BF titles. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to give it a try, it’s very fun, if a bit easy.

FlorianSimon,

I mean compared to games like HLL, it’s pretty much run and gun gameplay

FlorianSimon,

Ah, yes! Let the violent ideologies die on the “marketplace of ideas”…

FlorianSimon,

Begone, romance-language-speaking heretic!

FlorianSimon,

Ubisoft’s launcher also has an offline mode, though, does it not?

FlorianSimon,

I think it’s a money thing. Releasing a game on steam costs developers money.

FlorianSimon, (edited )

Keep that snark to yourself. No need to be an asshole.

If you’re going to be so aggressive, at least try to be correct. Ubi not being indie doesn’t mean they’re willing to pay the 30% fee Steam asks gamedevs on sales, which amounts to a lot of money at the end or the day at that scale. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of copies sold.

That, and POP is not an Epic exclusive. It’s on Ubisoft’s own launcher.

FlorianSimon,

Reported. Someone needs to go out and touch grass.
