No, Saskatchewan also doesn’t exist. We get very little from the feds, for two reasons:

  1. We never vote Liberal, so they do little to earn our vote.
  2. We always seem to vote Conservative, so they do little to earn our vote.

When good things happen it’s because of a unicorn like Ralph Goodale. The NDP could have a fighting chance for a few seats here, but they need to actually campaign and realise that they’re #2 in nearly every riding in the province.

Yup, all true, but even then Saskatchewan largely voted PC federally. Very strange political mix.

Oh yeah, completely agree as long as it’s done by the car with no telemetry or anything. When it comes to features like this my big worry is always privacy. The safety is a good thing.

I’m going to disagree slightly. I enjoyed Doom Eternal. It’s a fun shooter, but I had to pretend it wasn’t Doom. Sort of like Doom 3. It was a fun game but it’s not Doom.

So, does this include ChromeOS? I’m not sure if I’d qualify it as either a desktop OS or “Linux” (in the traditional sense). But since there’s enough room for debate there it’s worth asking.

Also true, but Android is also rarely if ever considered “desktop”. ChromeOS could be, since it shares a market with Mac and Windows laptops, which also run “desktop” operating systems.

Yep, at least in Canada “pavement” is either a sealed asphalt road surface, or the walking path in a garden or public park. Never the footpath on the side of a road, that’s a sidewalk or footpath.

A more common term for them here is “brodozer”. A portmanteau of “bro” and “bulldozer”.

Don’t know much about fhe context here, so I won’t defend this person if she’s actually pretending. That said, I wore masks consistently, and completely understand their value, and would never complain about people wearing them, but…

Holy hell are people harder to understand when wearing them. I know it’s a me problem, and I know why it’s a problem, so I completely understand why somebody would say that.

Still not enough to justify not wearing one.

Context matters. In a room one-on-one, yes, absolutely it’s like a phone call. Out in public, the non-verbal cues matter much more. As a concrete example, phone calls in the quiet are just fine, but I can’t use a drive-through.

Yep, one of those. Great for general typing. Lacks NKRO, so less great for hardcore gaming, but still feels great to type on.
