We only have a week left until early access starts, what are you guys doing to prepare for it? I've grinded out the carbuncle earring from the mogtome event and plan to do the wondrous tails for that extra exp. Also, both my inventory and glamour dresser are completely full, so I'll need to make some room beforehand.. But most importantly, I still need a fitting glam :D
My favorite way to prep for an expansion is try to get as immersed as I can ahead of it.
The first thing I always do is choose the class I’m going to play for the next expansion, with an RP reason, and then make a glam for it. I chose MCH this time, on the reasoning that, after Endwalker, the WoL finally had downtime, but they’re still the chaos gremlin that carries an entire house in their backpack, so I thought they’d probably use that time to do a deep dive into something scholarly for the first time. For my character, I decided she wanted to figure out exactly how much aether she can channel at once, and what better way to do that than by blasting it out of a gun?
With my lore established, I made a couple glams to fit it, and what we’ll be doing. The first is the culmination of her downtime activities, a complex outfit with a lot of magitek involved, which definitely stands out from a crowd.
The second is a more low-key glam for going to the new world for the first time, with unobtrusive elements of weird tech. The Scaevan earring is one of my favorite glam items. I love having my Bluetooth earpiece.
I also did a new housing build for my character in an Empyreum apartment, meant to look like a secret workshop in the Brume, where she did all her tinkering.
Starfleet ships basically maneuver like they’re weightless massless?, which, mathematically, they probably are. Inertial Dampeners are mostly mentioned in reference to stopping Worf from smashing into all the science stations every time the ship accelerates, but if inertia isn’t affecting the ship, they can basically do whatever they want. Even a tiny amount of thrust would be enough to put them in reverse from Full Impulse. Add to this that the ships aren’t held together by their superstructures, but by their Structural Integrity Fields, and really, a Starfleet vessel could be constructed in basically any shape. They just look like they have a front and an up because humans like it that way
Televisions that can stream platforms like Hulu or Max usually come loaded with technology that collects information on what viewers are watching, and buyers consent to have their viewing tracked when they open their new TV and click through terms of service agreements. That’s what I’ve done. It’s the way to go. Got a TV from the panel manufacturer that’s so basic you can see light shining through the back when it’s on lol
Actually, after the Eugenics Wars, much of the history of this time period is lost, which is, of course, why Captain Lorca of the USS Discovery mistakenly refered to Elon Musk while listing aerospace pioneers like the Wright Brothers and Zefram Cochrane
Thancred dying could be interesting if they want to bring Ryne back. I think Urianger is the obvious choice though, since he finished his arc with Moenbryda’s family
Yeah, if designing and building the Delta Flyer only took one episode, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that making more shuttles is easy and boring, and that’s why we don’t see it. Voyager was cutting edge when she was lost too
It’s basically a workplace comedy, and one of the focuses of the show is how bad Starfleet is about making sure their strange new worlds are getting on okay a couple decades after first contact. The crew of the Cerritos are simultaneously Starfleet’s best, and an absolute embarrassment lol
It’s a fantastic show, that really gets the soul of Star Trek. You should check it out
House arrest with an ankle monitor might be the way to go. No way he obeys the rules, so it can be a stepping stone into convicting him of even more stuff! Lol
All those Republicans are gonna have to square their “law and order” worldview with voting for a CONVICTED FELON.
Why? Cognitive dissonance is their bread and butter. They wouldn’t be Republicans if they couldn’t believe two totally mutually exclusive things at the same time
Clemson University linked Dougan to the network of fake news websites last year after one of them was found to share an IP address with other sites he ran, including his personal website.
It’s a one state this, two states that. I’m for a no state solution. And not just for Israel and Palestine. Just shut it all down. All the way back to agriculture. That’s where it all went wrong. Make Humanity Nomads Again
Fuck it, kill me. My mind is the part I care about anyway. If you get that where it’s going, I’m not bothered. You could even make some improvements on my meat housing before you replicate the next one, I don’t mind. Go wild
