essell,

No one really drives in Manhattan, there’s too much traffic

essell,

The first rule of god club is you have to continuously talk about god club

essell,

He’ll be dead soon.

I hope the secret service investigate me for this comment.

essell,

But America usually down with making black men into 3/5s of a person!

essell,

Which this?

That you’ve not done this for two and a half decades?

Or this in the image?

essell,

“perfectly preserved”

🤔

Like my freezer preserved that burger that escaped into the bottom of it six years ago

essell,

All cats are religious nutjobs. They all think they’re gods.

essell,

See, he says “one rule” but that sounded like three

essell,

I loved the banshee.

Everyone mocked me for the idea of having one graphics card that can do both the 2D and 3D at once. Clearly an idea that’d never catch on

essell,

Oh no! Family thinks it’s drugs money and gives it to the police!

Monkey paw strikes again.

essell,

Kinda misses the point, no?

The question needs an answer, even if the person asking also has their own questions to answer.

essell,

Okay, yeah. If it’s in bad faith I totally agree.

Still, I do have to wonder why some genocides are more important to people than others. There’s a genuine question there too

essell,

I absolutely love “who watches the watchers”

It’s such a great example of what Picard is about, what makes him a great man, as well as being a great commentary on that inner human struggle we experience on both a personal and social level.

essell,

Striker was made of a standard iron osmium alloy, but with a 2% nickel impurity that made them truly special

essell,

Yeah, but the experts were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should

essell,

Not true, I eat prawns!

essell,

They’re a replacement for skills and knowledge, not imagination.

This is why people point out that they lack skills and knowledge.

essell,

Damn. I’m going to have to find a new source of education if we can’t trust memes

essell, (edited )

In my opinion, cyberpunk sex scenes were only mildly more explicit than Mass effect, and that was back in 2007.

Fallout Mods for sex are more graphic!

essell,

Having played them all a lot, I still feel the urge to go back every year or two.

What gets me over that hurdle I think you’re describing is there’s a goal I want to reach. A different way to do a quest, a DLC I’ve not played in a long time, a character build to try.

Given that the games are so open ended coming up with a reason why you’re playing of your own matters.

essell,

Looks like a cool bit of fun. I’d buy one if it weren’t triple the price I’d pay.

essell,

That is a fair point.

essell,

And how would you know how many transwomen you’ve met where you didn’t know / guess that they were trans?

essell,

Whilst I can see how people might infer that, I doubt there was any desire to imply any ethnicity

essell,

Is there any name that isn’t connected to a specific culture and wouldn’t trigger that reaction in some people?

essell,

Masculinity is on the verge of facing extinction

Why isn’t this getting more attention?

Perhaps because masculinity itself isn’t a moral good or requirement for survival? 🤔

essell,

As an effeminate male, I promise you I don’t need masculinity to reproduce! 😁

essell,

Better than my husband is at it. Still, we do own a battery powered jar opener for extreme situations. It’s the end of civilization.

essell,

What a thing to get credit for, feeling flattered and powerful!

essell,

“all the way down” is missing the heart of it. The article is describing people with real issues, who have really been let down and really need better from their government.

That this has been channelled into racism is awful and sad for everyone, for all the victims of misinformation.

essell,

I agree this is why I described them as victims

essell,

Depends on the terms!

I work four jobs, all freelance, all paid sufficiently and all zero hour.

Suits me really well, as the work comes and goes between the different roles I’ve always got something to do.

It’s the exploitation of them that’s the problem. It’s the way they’re used to make people disposable and bypass employment laws that’s the problem.

essell,

One day when he dies, no one will believe it and that will be his fault!

essell,

That depends on the current and voltage
