😂 good point. I’m just thinking that since it’s NK, the “manager” probably didn’t have much more freedom or authority than the employees did. I’d be very surprised if he benefited from the embezzlement. I’d expect the higher ups to take it all.

I wouldn’t have cared, but I ended up rooting for the Chiefs because it would piss off people I don’t like. Heh heh heh.

I started watching near the end of the 4th quarter, and it turned out to be a surprisingly good ending. It was anyone’s game, right up to the end, and only the second superbowl in history to go into overtime.

I generally don’t like football, so I watched it Live from Bikini Bottom on Nickelodeon.

Whatever you choose to do (my vote is to talk to a therapist solo), do it soon. I don’t mean that you should put pressure on yourself and rush things, but that I don’t want you to spend any more time feeling stuck and unhappy.

If/when you talk to your partner about divorce, I expect they’ll promise anything in order to change your mind. Be prepared for the avalanche of bullshit, and don’t believe a word they say. Without you, they’ll actually have to be financially responsible for themselves. That is their real fear.

Edit: don’t second guess yourself when it turns out you’re not 100% right. That’s an impossible standard. Even in the most lopsided cases, the obviously wronged party can still take a tiny amount of blame. Plus (no offense intended) it sounds like it would be pretty easy to get you to feel responsible for things that aren’t actually your fault. Don’t be afraid to be tough.

Sweden doesn’t have laws that set working conditions, such as a minimum wage. Instead these rules are dictated by collective agreements, a type of contract that defines the benefits employees are entitled to, such as wages and working hours. For five years, industrial workers’ union IF Metall, which represents Tesla mechanics, has been trying to persuade the company to sign a collective agreement. When Tesla refused, the mechanics decided to strike at the end of October. Then they asked fellow Swedish unions to join them.

Try making the revolutionary suggestion that civilian deaths in the current Israeli/Palestinian conflict are a bad thing.

IMPORTANT: be extra careful not to take a side. Only express sorrow and frustration towards the deaths themselves. Don’t cite specific instances, or comment on the race or religion of the victims or perpetrators.

The absolute best value I ever got for a video game was for my old Atari 2600. I got a Solaris cartridge at a flea market for just a few bucks. It was cheap enough that I bought it despite never having heard of the game before.

The graphics capabilities of an Atari are laughable by today’s standards, but in terms of overall fun and hours played, nothing has ever beaten Solaris.

At first, I was somewhat surprised that this was even a question - then I reminded myself that they’re asking how the merger will affect the industry, not the players.

I don’t care how it affects the industry. I’m not a high-level executive with a gaming company. Are you?

For the players, I don’t think it’ll be that great. Whatever savings are made due to the merger won’t be passed on to us. They never are. What’s good for players is competition between many companies, all doing their best to attract customers. An enormous, monolithic conglomerate will do us no favors.

Yeah, that’s what the last two sentences are about.

A big company will take fewer creative risks and be more likely to limit investments to proven formulas. They’d rather just churn out sequels to huge moneymakers. On the other hand, more competition means more incentive to try something new and interesting in the hope of hitting it big.

Come on. I don’t expect the average person to be an expert at this, but a professional animator should understand that the human face is a bit more complex than Mr. Potato Head. You don’t just slap a grin on there and call it a day. It’s not like this is some groundbreaking experiment, and nobody has ever tried to animate a face before.
