I like Micsrosofts office suite, but I hate virtually everything else. I got tired of their recent decisions and bought an Apple laptop, partly because I’m getting into iOS development and wanted that experience. But my other computer is dual booted with Fedora and Windows for when I absolutely need Windows, I’ll swap over, bit rarely do I outside of some gaming.
Everywhere I am there is a guy running a leaf blower. At my house, leaf blowers everywhere all day long. At work, of course, leaf blowers blowing dirt and allergens into the air. It’s such a special noise, it goes through walls and headphones so effectively. They are the most pervasive, annoying things on the planet. I hate...
I have one that I use mostly during leaf season since I have several trees and a bad back. Using a leaf blower, I can clean up the yard in less than 10 minutes. Manually raking would take a few hours and thwn I’d be unable to move around for a while. I just blow the leafy goodness onto flower beds though so they can act as mulch.

I did something slightly different. I dual boot windows and linux. But each one is on a different hard drive. I have two SSDs that each one is dedicated to. Makes things easier.
I wish a company wouldn’t be allowed to do any layoffs or mass firings for a period of three years post merge and require 1 year severance after that, to all employees at that company, not just those affected by the merge.
