There actually is a car wash mode for the cybertruck. It was mentioned in that article about the guy who’s cybertruck lost power for like 6 hours or something after it got rained on.

If that’s what it’s for, then that makes sense. Wouldn’t want the wipers going on while you’re in a drive-thru car wash. None of the articles mentioned that feature, making it seem like it’s doing something to protect the electronics from getting wet. Especially since they were articles about damage from being wet. lol

I can’t even figure out how to climb over the first wall in the tutorial. It’s like my arms need to be longer IRL or something… I think I may just be too tall (constant problem with VR games that have no or lazy height scaling).

I personally found BOTW a bit lacking, though was fun to play something closer to the original game than the game that came just before it. TOTK is just so much better in every way.

TOTK is the only open world game with a building system where the building element is used in real gameplay and not just “hey, you can build a house that serves literally no function.” That one thing alone puts it above so many other large open world games because even if you’re doing the same kinda stuff over and over, you do have a lot of ways of solving everything and it’s not just repeating the exact same actions again and again unless you want it to be.

I watched a couple of prep videos from people who played the 3 hour demo and they said just have a dude who’s beaten the game but hasn’t moved to journey 2.

I have a few in that state already, but I’m also wondering if there is a cut off trigger. Like if the final boss is dead, can I still go into the DLC? Or even if I can, if there are new ending conditions to change the ending can I obtain them? Technically I’ve already committed to an ending and seen the credits roll; I just haven’t moved to J2 at the Roundtable.

If you can beat Mogh at a low level, it only takes like an hour of play going straight for the medal (via Varre’s quest; assuming you just invade 3 times and exit instead of going to Altus to kill whats-his-face) to teleport to his palace. But of course, you do have to kill Mogh, so that’s where it’s gonna eat up time from a fresh toon if you’re not super good at the game. Grabbing a good weapon, some rocks and maybe grinding the red dudes or the bird.

I love these games. They’re the perfect blend of old and new design. They put gameplay first, and then write the story around the game. They’re like the modern equivalent to Castlevania for me.

Plus I like invading. I can be a mini boss :D

what a bunch of bullshit. These games are still good now because they are timeless. the only thing of its era in these games is some of the bugs and the visuals; which a remake should fix. Honestly the only reason i would even want a remake is because i constantly get graphical glitches in the original releases and because i want a lot of the bugs fixed that aren’t even fixed through community patches

I think when people ask for a remake they usually just mean a remaster, anyway. Unfortunately in practice they have different meanings. 🤔

Like, I don’t want the games remade in a different vision with changes to plot, characters, or dialogue; I want the same games just brought up to modern standards. So technically, I want remasters.

I’m inclined to believe he actually means what he says about his team. He gives them mad props all the time and even stepped away from DS2 because he trusted they could do it without him. It just kinda sucks that BandaiNamco caused a lot of problems asking for constant changes and rewrites on that one.

I saw a Spiffing Brit’s video on the Banana game the other day and I just wanna know: What is the downside to leaving it idling in the background collecting bananas and selling what you can without ever buying any? That the creator gets some money? That’s not much of a downside.

I’m not really that upset considering it was going to end up the same as The Sims (with its content in DLC piecemeal) anyway, coming from Paradox.

It visually looked like an asset flip simulation shovelware game you can find all over Steam by searching for the shit with the worst reviews, too.

The servers aren’t the best and it’s a highly popular game. Connection issues during peak times were pretty bad (and becoming a problem again as the DLC approaches) and the way invasions work, as soon as you have a summon you are almost guaranteed be invaded since invasions only get connected to hosts with phantoms (with it prioritizing 2 coop partners) or if they use the Taunter’s Tongue.

This game is great, but if it came out only a year or two after BG2, it wouldn’t have been as highly praised being much smaller and also because contemporaries would have been on par mechanically.
