Sometimes you have to look twice if you don’t notice it first time:

Also, I don’t know how to say it, but the generic “look” of the art is typical of AI.
With cellphones, at the very least it’s more a question of screen size more than anything. Phones got smaller, but screens got bigger. I’m guessing this is why - in part at least - folding phones are trying to become a thing; increasing screen size whilst staying small enough to fit in a pocket.
When I was younger, there were people who would actually say lol. I wouldn’t say it’s new, but I think the advent of the internet has certainly accelerated some aspects of linguistic evolution.
It would be fascinating to be a fly on the wall in a couple hundred years’ time to see where English goes from here.

Doesn’t look like anything specific, but a couple of months ago the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative party here in the UK resigned his post over sending immigrants to Rwanda.
He stormed out of the vote because he was trying to speak and some of the opposition MPs were laughing at him.
He resigned not long after and now he’s part of an even more right wing and more overly racist party corporation who are doomed to fail at the next election.
So I’m not sure he broke down in the toilet but he did spit his dummy out so hard he resigned from a pretty big role.
I was pleasantly surprised to realise faithful recreations of the old solitaire and Space Cadet pinball games are available on Linux! I have them both on my Steam Deck!
