shani66,

It’s just the spellslinger wizard archetype

shani66,

Sounds like you’re the one winning here

shani66,

Dudes a piece of a shit, but this might unironically be good for VR tech.

shani66,

Pretty sure I’ve seen this exact same article from different websites, which is kinda weird. Opinion stays the same though, outside of marketing speak (immersed in the world? BS, then why is it not first person?) it looks bad. The gameplay showed off a very not good basic action combat system and this doesn’t inspire confidence either. Not to mention every single dragon age game has had worse combat and character building than the last one, it’d be stupid to expect them to buck the trend now.

shani66,

I build up a (in)tolerance for ads even from creative YouTubers. I watched Internet historian ads like twice, i watched Some More News ads for a single episode. Even creative ads subtract from the quality of something better.

shani66,

They didn’t even bring up the actual alarming issue of sheriff’s who think they are the supreme authority of the land either. Very weird article, it’s like someone missed an entire decade.

shani66,

Tbf, the pseudo-horror dlc is literally the only thing they’ve done right since morrowind.

shani66,

It’s insane that anyone even bought starfield to begin with. Did people not play the last 5 Bethesda games? The absolute best among them barely gets to mid without a full day of installing mods. The last one was such a shameless scam that it might literally be unprecedented in the mainstream industry.

shani66,

fallout 76, fallout 4, Skyrim (only counting it once), fallout 3, and oblivion. Bethesda game studios had nothing to do with doom, Bethesda softworks merely published it.

All of them are generally bad in their own special way, but special mentions go to oblivion for inventing shitty micro transactions (horse armor) and 76 for being the single biggest trainwreck in the industry since E.T.

shani66,

Highly doubt that, but maybe the next Neverwinter nights.

Pardon me, do you have the rule? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

A comic strip titled “WONDERMARK by David Malki!” featuring five panels. In the first panel, a dodo bird asks a seated man, “Pardon me, do you have the time?” The man responds, “Yes, it’s—”. In the second panel, the dodo exclaims, “You have the time!” The third panel shows multiple dodos excitedly saying,...

shani66,

No one wants to play Minecraft, they want to play dragons reloaded two, or harvestcraft, or whatever. Minecraft is really kinda bad as a stand alone thing, that’s why people will still get excited when they hear the name hytale. The modding community is what people buy the game for, and that isn’t replicated anywhere else.

shani66,

They say Nethys became the god of magic when he learned everything in the universe, but that was just a side effect. The real apotheosis happened when he cast bajablast for the first, and final, time.

shani66,

No retail worker cares if their slave master gets robbed, try again

shani66, (edited )

I mean, duh. I do find it kinda funny that he says it feels like the console ages again, because that’s when development for this train wreck started.

Anyways, spot on. That first trailer showed off the marvel tier writing we’re probably going to see (although tbf origins had some real out there shit pre release too) and the gameplay trailer confirms it’s just a button mashing mess with very few skills to break the monotony.

shani66,

I can get it for one or two really hard puzzles in a game, but elden ring at least had no need for a guide at all

shani66,

Holy shit, i watched the gameplay reveal and my god it’s bad. It’s really bad. Like, these people should never work again levels of bad.

shani66,

And it’s well known that Trump has a thing for Ivanka, he’s making an incest joke

shani66,

Pretty sure they’re talking about dragon age, not mass effect. God i wish dragon age origins got a sequel.

shani66,

I bet its people trying to justify their veneration of the law, a major issue I’ve seen on the Internet in recent years. Most people shoplift for thrills (iirc), then it’s desperation. And even if someone steals to resell, they literally can’t do a mark up outside of specific, terrible, circumstances since the store (and hundreds of stores just like it) are right there.

shani66,

The only time I’ve ever cared about someone shoplifting was when they stole from the store i was working at and, this is the important part here, tried to act like i was too stupid to get they were stealing. My dude, i don’t care if you are stealing, just walk out, i couldn’t stop you even if i cared, but please skip the stupid excuse making.

shani66,

Twitter had rules about porn? Literally the only thing I’ve ever used it for was to follow porn artists to obscure to be put onto a booru or not in pixiv.

shani66,

Couldn’t care less about killing and eating animals, but it’s pretty fucked how we go about it.

shani66,

Lol. Lmao.

-Todd Howard

shani66,

Ha, no, not unless Microsoft forces them to hand the IP over to a decent developer.

shani66,

That’s a terrible business strategy, but more over it’s so insanely stupid to just come out and admit it

shani66,

I’m so interested but I’ve already got two groups and numerous games going on

shani66,

I could probably slip some into changeling

shani66,

“he’s a good boy! He’s even going to go join an ongoing genocide!”

shani66,

Getting the basic ending really wasn’t that hard

shani66,

Man you got a shitty family if they’ll give up your hard earned drug money

Fallout Series (Why don’t I like it?)

I think my first Bethesda game was Skyrim and I love Skyrim. I’ve played through Skyrim when it first came out I played through it again in the DLC came out. I played through it again on the switch I have since played through it again on PC. I love Skyrim. I played it so many times and I know it’s a meme to keep re-releasing...

shani66,

To be perfectly honest, fallout 4 is probably the peak of Bethesda game design. For the most part it’s incredibly shallow, like all of their games, but everything having some kind of actual use as scrap instead of a gold/weight ratio makes exploration far more rewarding.

That said, Bethesda sucks and there could be a few reasons why it shines through. they didn’t have the actual TES creators’ work to capitalize on and ruin, they just seem to take fallout less seriously than they do TES, and the bad gameplay becomes more apparent when you focus on ranged weapons.

shani66,

Oh don’t get it mixed up, new Vegas is better than anything Bethesda has ever put out, it’s just not a Bethesda game. 3, meanwhile, is just straight up bad. It’s as unrewarding as oblivion to explore, the gameplay sucked, and the setting was stupid.
