Heās a genius playing 8D chess. You just donāt understand. By this time next week, Twitter will be the only website in the world and Lonnie will laugh at you from mars. Just watch!
Insert Bond Villain Plotā¢ where heās secretly buying all the EMP-hardened server parks in the world, and itās getting ready to orbital-nuke everything except Shitter servers back to the stone age.
And of course he will brick every phone and computer everywhere, so nobody will be able to use Shitter, but God damnit, it will be the only site left!
Even calling it ābackwardsā is falling for conservativesā euphemistic lie. Conservatism has never really been about āupholding traditionā or any of the bullshit they claim; itās only ever been about authoritarianism and enforcing hierarchy. If it happens to jive with a ātraditionā it is only because said tradition is authoritarian and hierarchical.
he is also responsible for several of Nintendoās other hit games ā among them The Legend of Zelda, whose latest instalment just topped many of 2023ās game of the year lists.
Did the author not actually check any GotY lists, or do they only look at GotY lists by hard-core Nintendo fans? Because none of the big industry lists had TotK at the top.
2nd place is still ātopping,ā I would say. When a song is topping the charts, its not usually actually number 1, more often its actually in the top 4, or 10, etc.
Iām not usually one to defend Facebook, but it might have something to do with (and is possibly being done to counteract) this massive state-sponsored disinformation campaign:
lol my silence is not an answer. I donāt spend inordinate amounts of time on the internet so have no need to respond within a day much less a week. Hereās one example of the numerous misinformation that Israel has been spreading, coming from a news source that actually helped spread Israelās disinformation.
You evidently had enough time to post elsewhere, so itās not unreasonable to think you mightāve read my reply already.
How is the WP article showing misinformation? It basically boils down to āIsrael alleged something and provided some evidence, but we think itās not conclusiveā. It does not show that Israel knowingly lied about anything, which is what youāre insinuating.

Evidently? Huh?

The article is literally about how Israel claimed a bunch of things as complete truths and then every single thing they claimed was wrong.
This has been the case for almost everything Israel has said until this point. They lied about hostages being raped, they lied about not going to bomb specific areas, they lied about certain areas being safe for Palestinians, they lied about only trying to kill hamas, and have killed over 20k civilians as a result, they lied about not actively trying to kill journalists. The list is endless. Itās perfectly clear that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians and if you support that, Iām sorry but youāre absolutely evil.

This āyouāre either for Palestine or a genocide supporterā mindset is half the reason this conflict still exists, the other half is the āyouāre either for Israel or a terrorist supporterā mindset. Iām sure it feels great to have a one-dimensional world view, but not everyone is either for or against one side.
All I was asking for is a source for your claim that Israel is spreading misinformation and that said misinformation is allowed to proliferate. The one source you provided is inadequate because it doesnāt have any proof of Israeli lies, it just says that Israeli-provided proof is inconclusive. Let alone your claim that the alleged misinformation is not removedā¦
Weāre done here, clearly thereās no good faith discussion to be had.
Itās like the textbook example of why you want a jury when your case is just nonsensical appeals to emotions and bias, and a judge when you want a case of facts
Crucially, they said, a jury rather than a judge decided the Google case, meaning the gaming companyās underdog narrative likely held more sway. Google was also repeatedly caught misbehaving. From damning internal documents to missing and deleted evidence, the company seemed to take every chance it could to present itself as the very archetype of a powerful monopolist sneakily trying to muddy the truth, experts said.
And here are some examples of those internal documents:
In particular, Epic repeatedly pointed to an initiative called āProject Hugā where the company paid major game developers like Activision and Nintendo millions of dollars in incentives to keep their wares in the Play store and persuade them not to create their own rival stores. The stakes were high. Activision alone was reportedly offered $360m. Epic was offered $147m to keep Fortnite on Google Play. Google documents reportedly referred to Epic in this case as a worrisome ācontagionā that could cause other developers to defect.
A jury is going to see that as bribery and not look favorably on Google.
That setting automatically deleted messages within 24 hrs.
Googleās sloppy handling of documents struck a nerve with Judge Donato during the trial. Around a week before the verdict, the judge slammed Googleās handling of evidence as āa frontal assault on the fair administration of justiceāā¦ Donato said Google actionās amount to āthe most serious and disturbing evidence I have ever seen in my decade on the bench with respect to a party intentionally suppressing relevant evidenceā.
The judge calling out the defendent certainly doesnāt help.
"The big difference between Apple and Google is Apple didnāt write anything down,ā Sweeney said, according to CNBC. Epic Games did not immediately respond to the Guardianās request for comment.
That says all I need to know about the difference between these two cases.

Besides, if you want to win a complex court case, it certainly helps to have more than a few million dollars, so you can hire more of the best lawyers and let them prepare for longer time. But at some point, more money gets useless, and the stock value of your company isn't even money that you could spend on anything.
No, youāre an idiot and a tremendous asshole if you make up shit in an argument. People read that and believe it. This is how misinformation is spread.
Iām not an angry person at all. I just think that you shouldnāt opine on articles you had no intention to read, and then make up information so you can argue non-points with people. And āout of date?ā Thatās a pretty broad defense isnāt it? Sureā¦ā¦ At a certain point there were no trillion dollar companies- until there was one. So it looks like you have the perfect defense there bud.
I wonāt apologise becasue Itās my belief that people need to be called out over this bullshit.
Weāre far too lax and forgiving of people who purposefully dilute information because theyāre too lazy to bother to educate themselves- and then start lengthy arguments in defense of said bullshit.
Iād like to think youāll remember er this the next time you think to invent āfactsā so you can join in a discussion.
Just posting a whole big pile of stuff and saying āthe answers probably in there somewhere and you canāt disagree until youāve been thought it allā is something conspiracy theorists and idiots do.
The first paper doesnāt agree with your claim so itās pretty obvious you didnāt even read it yourself.
I have never really seen the attraction of Spotify. Music is accessible so easily in so many ways. I own thousands of CDs, listen to the radio all the time, and have at least 100gig of music files to make playlists from, much of it music by people I know. I play and listen to live music regularly. What could spotify possibly offer me that I canāt access in a more ethical and recogniseable way?
On the one hand, their pro-Palestinian politics are morally valid and increasingly popular as the world watches horrifying human rights violations in Gaza- I agree with them, itās important to put pressure on the Democrats to get on the right side of this issue.
On the other hand, I honestly think we are one GOP sweep victory away from an end to democracy in the USA- and my take on that is that the establishment-Dems probably think a 4-year stint of being punished by Republicans will teach those uppity leftists and minorities to toe the line better and in the interim theyāre pretty sure theyāll be fiiine.
The reason I lose sleep over this sort of thing is I believe that once political power becomes decoupled from the consent of the governed, the rights and protections that arise in the constitution will become instead favors granted by an unaccountable power, contingent on whether or not they find you supplicant enough. Also we shouldnāt count on being able to vote our way out of a situation where the rules prevent voting from making a difference- should it come to that, itās dark days friends
What a bunch of utter morons. āLetās abandon the guy who isnāt doing as much for us as we would like and instead vote for a guy who will actively oppress us!ā
Incorrect, they can vote for 3rd parties. Americans people need to know a 3rd party exists instead of money grabbing politicians who spend billions on ads.
