Kush in Sierra Leone is quite different; it is a mixture of cannabis, fentanyl, tramadol, formaldehyde and – according to some – ground down humans bones.
Yeah it’s very effective. It has a big downside of people losing the pegs and then those addresses are “lost” but all that means is that 2 users can’t reliably connect and when they report to IT they will be asked if they had the correct peg. And I guess quarterly do a review for unused addresses that have pegs out and create new ones for lost pegs.
So the bill of rights, essentially. I guess the subtext for Trump voters is “For white christian conservatives”. Because those fascists can doublethink like it’s an olympic sport. Or lie; they’re good at that too.
Perhaps. I don’t keep up with Republican politics that much. But I still get the sense the silent majority of Republican voters are more centrist that straight facist ticket.
I also think that in either 2016, or 2020, a progressive third party/ independent candidate (like if Bernie had seen the writing on the walls), could have handily won. The biggest issue in American politics is that most voters actually fucking hate both republicans and democrats, but you need their infrastructure to win for pretty much anything but the big seat.
So this argument relies on the fact that DNC deliberately would have torpedoed Bernie’s chances. That they worked to suppress his chances. While he wasn’t the DNC’s favorite son, this is a bit of a conspiracy theory. Bernie and progressives just aren’t that popular nationwide among Democrats in general. They are popular on the internet, but new and fringe movements tend to be (remember the early Libertarian movement and how Ron Paul blew up?). The DNC is certainly trending progressive, as most of the world has. But America has always been very centrist-minded, due to FPTP voting.
So her options are to A) side with the fascist mob and throw away democracy and all her credibility and potentially her job, or B) do her job faithfully and put herself and her family at the same risks all her colleagues have been doing.
Yeah, I guess federal judges really only look out for themselves at all costs and have no pride in their responsibility or love for their country. Like, I expect that from her because we’ve seen she’s a sympathizer, but that’s not what we should expect from federal judges.
I had some hope like 8 years ago that Republicans would split and oust the smaller white nationalist, fascist section to let it wither. But no. They did what they did with the Tea Party and absorbed them, letting the fringe take them over.
Not necessarily. Actual accidents don’t always confer citations and many of those can be discharged for simply proving your insurance paid the other person. It’s not illegal to be a klutz, it’s just expensive.
So best case for someone like this: don’t drive. Get other people to drive you, use public transportation, get a bike, etc. But this is probably America and that is 100% not possible everywhere. Or even most places.
There is another option: State-Owned High-Risk Auto Insurance. These are insurance plans owned by individual states. Because US states all require auto insurance to drive a car and because driving a car is goddamn necessary in a lot of America, this exists.
It’s VERY expensive. Like when I was looking at getting good coverage for 2 newish cars I was staring down $500/6mo. Our state’s high-risk was $2,000+. But it exists for people like in the post who are just too expensive for ordinary insurance companies to want to insure.
No way. Even just commuting assuming $20 each way (cheap for rush hour) that’s $4,800 every 6 months. Probably 2-3 times as expensive as the high risk insurance.
That was a few years ago. But I have the same coverage and cars for $580/6mo. BTW it’s cheaper to pay all at once usually.
But our cars are compact and subcompact about 9 & 10 years old. We carry 100/300/100. It’s GEICO is MD but it was also about the same with progressive in FL. Only one of us has a perfect record, the other is still minor and rare.
So you may just live in an expensive state for insurance.
Yeah. Sounds like this is going to become the Cold War of politics this season. Force the other side to spend themselves to death so they can’t spend strategically.
Lol yes we can. We regulate gambling which is arguably just a very addicting game. Because it intentionally and maliciously preys on known psychological weaknesses and does so to extract enough money from victims to ruin them, we regulated it.
The idea that the USSR and East Germany were anywhere close to communism is a joke. There were so many offshoots of communism that were just autocracies where the state owned all property that its meaning is pointless now. It’s better to describe then as dictatorships.
Only for the presidential election. All the rest are normal. We’re definitely a representative democracy. Whereas none of the communist countries are anywhere close to Marxist communism.
We see that PM Mishustin needs only to consider and create outline plans for the gaming ecosystem before the period of execution, which is set for June 15, 2024. Of course, preparing meaningful plans is still a big task, but it should be achievable enough for Mishustin to feel relatively safe standing on balconies.
I haven’t had an xbox since 360. But the UX was terrible then and I’ve heard and experienced complaints from this generation. How about an actual good UX? Steam deck isn’t bad.
Sounds like the right way to do it. Have too much staff? Start multiple projects based on your success for however much cash you have. Reinvesting is a tax write-off after all.
Of course. The money train was only there to ensure the services got enough people hooked into their ecosystem before they enshittified to try to turn bigger profits.
How would you describe a new game in a single sentence that accurately conveyed the gameplay and feel? Especially for a game like palworld where most people will have the wrong initial impression. Especially even a genre like “survival” is so broad these days.
It’s not like games media is the only type that does this. And people do this constantly with each other to establish basis.
ITT: people calling for revolution who will never do a damn thing about it. It’s easy to pretend violence is the answer when you’ll never participate, let alone start something.

Just Hawkeye and Black Widow. They don’t have powers, they’re just good at their jobs. It’s already silly in they other games they appear but at least there they don’t fight each other.
These are premium games that may have a lower initial price point but a long tail of revenue through updates, game expansions and potentially microtransactions," the studio explained. “For these games, a key differentiator is the post-launch live operations phase meant to keep players engaged for years.”
Or it’ll be boring and die in 6 months. I was pretty done with Control’s combat by the time I got through the game. No clue how they’ll keep people engaged for years.
