aeronmelon,

🎶 “Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam,

aeronmelon,

They wanted to diversify into colon cleansing, this was cheaper.

aeronmelon,

“Well, the warp core seemed to enjoy it.”

aeronmelon,

I love how you used a picture of the Hallmark desk decoration version of the warp core.

aeronmelon,

Stupid space-OSHA requiring “hand rails” and “radiation shielding”.

My grandpappy held the dilithium with his bare hands and he lived to be 110!

aeronmelon,

Jake: “Naguuuuus~!”

Nog: “What?!”

And yes, it was weird that Nog kept it up with the headpiece even after joining Starfleet.

aeronmelon,

Data looks like fucking Lawnmower Man in this picture.

aeronmelon,

Absolutely that first pic. I remember that from all the PC magazines I read as a kid.

aeronmelon,

“Oh no Data has his emotion chip in!”

Data gets high and laughs for 18 hours straight

aeronmelon,

Riker: “What if, like, Deanna does have three boobs and she… she, like, uses her powers to make us think she looks like a Human?”

(Obscure Mass Effect reference)

aeronmelon,

At some point in Mass Effect 2 you find a group of males (a Human, a Salarian, and a Turian) getting a table dance from an Asari. Hang around long enough and this is the conversation you hear:

aeronmelon,

It just occurred to me that it’s a photo of a photo.

aeronmelon,

“Goosentag, my name is Gus Honkstetter.”

aeronmelon,

*Ad 1 of 3.

aeronmelon,

People still running content blockers and piping video links in 2025: “You guys are still watching ads?”

aeronmelon,

Genuinely worried about MrDangles now.

aeronmelon,

Most vending machines take IC (the NFC-style top-up cards that Japan also runs on), but ALL vending machines take cash.

It should be possible to swap out the reader, but they might be built in such a way that the entire machine has to be taken away and cannot be serviced on-site for security’s sake. I have never seen anyone servicing a vending machine in public.

This could be something that causes Japan to rethink its cash dependancy.

aeronmelon,

They only lost one Flyer.

And I would personally want a Danube-class Runabout. I’ve always liked those ugly things.

aeronmelon,

Was this written by David Lynch?

aeronmelon,
aeronmelon,

Text formatting? Prose? Punctuation? On Tumblr? You’re a funny one.

Tumblr is where you go in search of manic 3AM rants about some dark interpretation of your favorite childhood show.

aeronmelon,

Don’t shame me for watching Sacrifice of Angels 20 times in a row.

aeronmelon,

Because Wesley Crusher was written to be seen as an annoying kid who got in the way. That was the social slant of the time. But you watch those episodes now and you realize, “Hey, he was actually very smart, just trying to help, and he even saved the ship a couple of times.” So all the “Shut up, Wesley!” moments became so stupid, even if he did deserved it sometimes, that the community decided to lean into it ironically as an in-joke.

aeronmelon,

Like running away.

In the case of the Crystalline Entity, running away is a valid strategy.

aeronmelon,

There’s a giant board on the wall of the shop with pictures of shuttles they’ve drawn red Xs over.

aeronmelon,

Sorry, I was head-canoning the scenario. I’m not claiming it was actually there.

aeronmelon,

NOW Star Trek is a DesiLu production!

aeronmelon,

The Cuban provided the name, the redhead provided the grit.

aeronmelon,

And we thought Janeway was unhinged.

I expect a series of memes with Ball’s head sitting on Mulgrew’s body very soon.

Bonus points if they also replace Beltran with Arnez.

aeronmelon,

“Quickly, Seven, sniff them all and give me the ones that smell like coffee!”

aeronmelon,

But what… what flavor is the clear part?

aeronmelon,

That might be slightly illegal.

That person might be slightly doomed.

Companies need to remember to change the login password BEFORE firing people with login passwords.

aeronmelon,

“Dammit, Seeley, I’m a doctor, not a doctor!”

aeronmelon,

Remember that DS9 (and the Defiant) operate on a 26-hour day because Bajor has a 26- hour day. That means a three-shift rotation would have people working an extra 40 minutes each day compared to an Earth-normalized ship (almost nine hours a day).

A four-shift rotation requires everyone to work six and a half hours a day.

Hell, the idea for a three-shift rotation was probably Starfleet’s idea. And the Bajorans probably went along with it just because they recently got away from pulling 18-hour days!

aeronmelon,

The biggest reason Riker hated Jellico is because he isn’t Picard.

And the longer Jellico sat in the Captain’s chair, the less likely Picard was coming back.

aeronmelon,

A moment ago, I started spiraling a bit and have been listening to music to pull myself back together.

Then I pull up Lemmy and see this. I am immediately okay again. Thank you.

(I’m like that .gif of Pedro Pascal playing backwards now.)

aeronmelon,

“Mahogany, really?”

aeronmelon,

Picard shields his eyes

“THERE ARE FORTY LIGHTS!”

aeronmelon,

Uhura fights dirty, it’s canon.

aeronmelon, (edited )

Always thinking of the outtake where she’s talking to a Starbase and a guy off-camera does a fake feminine voice in response to her line and her eyes just light up and she says “Hey, suger.” in the most genuinely sultry voice I’ve ever heard her use.
