Counter-Strike: Condition Zero sucked ass tho.

CS2 is technically the 5th main series counter-strike game, if you even want to count it as a different game to Global Offensive. I’m not counting 1.5 and 1.6 as different games, and it’s about the same kind of upgrade.

I’m more upset by the strategy of putting the first game of a series on PC but not the followup games. I’m not getting Rebirth on the PS5 when I got the first one with my save file on PC even though I have a PS5 and it’s very doubtful anyone already on PC without a PS5 is gonna go out and buy a PS5 just for a sequel or two.

I haven’t seen a single developer that thinks the current price of a game is high enough. They always cite how much it costs to make the game as the reason why they should be more expensive to buy.

And yet… Hollywood spends about the same to make a blockbuster film and movie tickets aren’t $70 nor do people in the film industry say they should be higher.

Shortly before I left completely, I had gotten a permaban for saying “I concur” on a post of a woman in a shirt that said “punching Nazis is not a crime.” Neither the post itself nor its poster were removed or banned. I appealed like 20 times before it was reversed but it made the decision to leave altogether so much easier seeing first hand ADMINS, not just moderators, defending Nazis.

I wish I remembered the actual product name but I recall there being, and people making fun of, this gnarly LAN party backpack that allowed you to carry your PC, a power supply and a fucking CRT monitor around on a rigid frame backpack to bring your entire setup with you everywhere.

One of the image macros floating around back then was of that thing with a rig attached so you could have your mouse and keyboard in front of you and the monitor held ahead of you from over the top allowing you to walk around playing Doom. 🤣
